I have completed mystery visits on behalf of Service Scan for 6+ years. They are by far the most detailed and diligent assessor of operating standards I have worked for. They also offer high value visits. I have always recieved reimbursement for my work and their staff support you each step of the way.

I have carried out visits for Service Scan for the past 6 years or so and I rate them very highly. I find it to be a very nice personal 'life hack' where I get to go for a lovely expensive meal and take a friends/family member, and instead of paying for the meal I write a detailed report about the experience. Service Scan have never ever let me down when repaying my experience. They have been helpful and supportive when I have been in financial difficulty and made an effort to prioritise my repayment so I can get my expenses back a little faster. In my experience they have been absolutely brilliant to work with.

I have carried out numerous visits for Service Scan over the last 13 years and never had a problem in either receiving payment for the visit or in communications from the company. I always find it a really easy process from me been asked if I want to do a visit to details for the visit and then afterwards completing the report.

I find this a really lovely company to work for. I do a handful of visits a year and the places I get to eat in are often fantastic - and typically better than those offered by similar companies. Budgets are reasonable and cover all the items required in the brief. The Service-Scan staff are very pleasant and responsive. Consistent with other similar companies, fuel/travel expenses are not given, but the reimbursements (for the food and drink) make the visits very worthwhile anyway.

I worked for this company for over 15 years until about a year ago when I was told they were stopping evaluators from being paid a fee for the work they do, I was told that we should be grateful we were getting an expensive meal, however, as I explained that really would not wash with the mortgage and utility people and that the office staff would not work for no wage just payment of a meal I was told that was my choice and I was given notice immediately.
I looked on Trustpilot at that time and was unable to find it however on finding it now I am now warning others along with clients that staff should not be made to work for expenses only and as such hope clients with taking there contracts to companies that do look after there workforce.
This is not one of them.

I completed my job for them and have received no contact with regards to payment since. When I reached out to ask they said that due to COVID-19 they were relaxing their policies in terms of asking clients for payment. I am now £75 down during a time when that money is needed the most and have had no response from them since. Do not bother using them.
