They say 'We care' but no.

They say 'We care' but really they don't...
They're not bothered about Employees mental health and wellbeing.
I was bullied by some colleagues and not getting appreciation at all from work. I've been treated like utter rubbish.
I did notify someone about it and expected support but they just wanted me to carry on with the job and forget what happened. Like sweeping problems under the mat.
Not professional!

Worst company to have your bins with over charge for volume and absolutely terrible customer service put you in contracts without informing prior to the renewal and just all round abysmal sooner the council get rid of their contract the better. Bottom tier company in the UK

Working for serco.

I work for serco and they are the worst company I have ever worked for. No compasion,no fareness and certainly no duty of care, and they couldn't care less about you as a person. All they ever want is to get the job done no matter what. A shocking company to work for,discusting. I have worked for them for ten years and the company managment is as unhelpful as you possibly could be.

My two stepsons are in Fosse Way and…

My two stepsons are in Fosse Way and one is very ill.
My wife has rung this afternoon and spoke to someone who sounds half asleep like Baldrick in Blackadder so she has rung back twice and spoken to another women who sounds like the DSSS clerk in bread.
Basically these onanists have told here they will investigate but have done nothing.
They are are not customer focused, nor do they care about humanity, they employ simpletons on minimum wage, no empathy.
I would not recommend these mooncalves.
A totally fabricated service by the tories, labour and Nigel Lafarge et al.
I am glad I am not there.

I had a pip assessment
With these 2 cancers fibromyalgia and they lied through there teeth
Now in appel . Would not trust with a barge pole .
And im hearing there paid 80 pounds each person they turn away

If you want to be told your an agent…

If you want to be told your an agent and do your job this is the place. One of the worst places to work all they do is care about their client they only favour the higher ups and will complain to their favourite agency adecco if you question things.

Very poor quality food

I am a cancer patient in FVRH, gastrointestinal ward. I haven’t been eating for a while but I’m trying to eat a bit more every day.
Usually breakfast is served around 8.00. Since the evening meal is served around 5.00pm I think people are ready for some breakfast. Today it wasn’t served until after 9.00. I was given 2 slices of burned toast. I tried to eat some but as well as being burned it was tough as leather. Staff don’t have time to listen. Not great for someone who’s ill. Someone needs to check on how food is delivered.

Apparently don’t understand what consent means

Assessment process online involved request to record audio (agreed to audio only) at question 9.
When I pressed submit after recording audio, the screen would not advance to question 10 and the camera was activated.
Pressing submit and proceed to move forward did not advance the screen for at least another minute.
Breach of Privacy Act 1988 and Australian Privacy Principles.
Consent to record visuals not given and no opportunity to stop the process.
Deeply unethical invasion of privacy.
Request to have all of data removed and withdraw the application - no response. Another breach of Australian Privacy Principles.

SERCO

When I retired from the Police with an exemplary service record and massive experience I joined this lot. OMG what a clown show: day 1, first 30 minutes: two staff members throwing marker pens and chalk board dusters at each other. A Walter Mitty staff member claiming he’s ex Parachute Regiment but had no idea when i asked if he had the “tattoo!!”. A recruit who had experienced the death of her younger brother less than three weeks prior and who was obviously still in distress. A male recruit who suffers from autism and who’s prone to violent outbursts. A female recruit who couldn’t write. A smell of weed in the training centre and incredibly incompetent trainers with the exception of one young lady. How these people run a company is beyond me. Terrifying that they are responsible for prisoners etc.

Had an interview with them everything…

Had an interview with two women.
They did not seem to be interested as soon as it started.
Like If you already have people you want for your business do not waste other peoples time.
First question they asked was can you tell us info about your present position and what you do? I spoke 3 words and they just wanted me to hurry up 3 sec into the interview. I also do not get why Adecco cannot do interviews for yourselves anymore. If you are in a rush and have no interest just give this job for Adecco staff instead!

Its an absolute travesty

Its an absolute travesty, that this shambles of a company have been contracted to run NHS accomodation. They provide a terrible service, exploit legal foreign health workers, and charge a ridiculous sum for what amounts to worse than prison accomodation (1 toilet/shower for six adults) threadbare carpets, black mould, white goods that are so old they are yellow and dont work as designed, its disgusting and when health care workers arent cared for, what chance is there that they will care for their patients!

Serco Interview Process Review.


I would like to congratulate Carol Mills for conducting a professional interview. Carol was very polite, and received a golden point using a Serco customized background to maintain privacy e.g. hide coffee mugs. The interview lasted an hour, however what was prominent is her composure to follow protocol during a poor internet connection. Carol then went into a role play where I was a delivery driver for amazon and she was a angry customer. She definitely played the role of a "Karen" using demanding language on why I was a hour late to deliver her parcel. Karen then advised she wanted a refund and was going to file a complaint. Nevertheless, the parcel was delivered and both parties agreed but disagreed. Carol explained the actual job role in depth and the particular sites that I will potentially be located in. Most importantly she requested to see all the professional documents on camera , before proceeding to the next stage. Lastly, Carol kindly asked if there was any information provided in the interview that she would like to repeat for clarity. This gave me reassurance that I understood the expectations of role. In addition, she provide me with a start date on the job, in order to begin my preparation .

Unprincipled and unethical company

I was head of ethics for Serco AP in 2023. My role was to promote adherence to Serco’s code of conduct and ethics. During my time I dealt with hundreds of complaints by employees of bullying, dishonest practices, racism and sexual harassment. Most complaints related to the conduct of mid and senior tier executives. My observations were Serco are entirely profit driven and have little to no regard for their employees at all. Their code of ethics is a marketing tool and they do not adhere to it in any way. Complaints are routinely ignored and no action is taken, even where the majority of complaints were credible or sbtantiad. I was fired without warning 6 months into my role for advocating for employee rights and cultural change. The management were completely disinterested and unprincipled. Bullying and abuse was rife. It was my worst employment experience by far in my 30 year career.
