Sendean was very supportive and helped me through the entire process and made it so easy.

Great experience! My camera was back safe and sound, all the damage restored, and the communication throughout made me feel confident and informed on the progress.

I dropped off my camera, kindly requesting that the battery gets checked too (not replaced or fixed, just checked) as it had gone underwater, and the person behind the desk said they can do that for me. I also wrote it on the form. When I went and picked up my camera, I asked about the battery, and was told everything should be working. As I arrived home, I tried to turn it on; it didn’t work. Went back and they fixed it. Owner has been very kind all throughout. Trustworthy repair shop, and good communication.

My Contax T2 was no longer focusing properly. I hesitated a lot because the price of the repair, including a complete revision, was equivalent to the value of the camera. The quote and deadline were respected, and I got my Contax T2 back, which is working perfectly again. Thank you, Sendean.

Professional, friendly, and fast. Came in on time and on budget with repair and refurbishment of two elderly Kodak Carousel S-AV 2000 slide projectors that had both not only shorted their lamps but crashed off their stand and tumbled six feet to the floor. (Don't ask.) Sendean got them working again. Phew!

Easy to find by car. Parking was reasonable. Store easy to find, great staff, very helpful, concise explanation of processes. Great communication, collection within 10 days, job done!

Sendean Cameras had succesfully repaired my son's camera a few years ago so I had no hesitancy in contacting them again about a shutter problem with a Canon 1Ds mkiii. They responded very quickly and I packaged the camera up and sent it in. I was given three options based on the level of service, recalibration required on top of the repair. All were reasonable. I was concerned that a shutter wouldn't be available as the camera is quite old, but a new one was sourced and following repair and a full service the camera feels like new. I was kept informed throughout and communication was always helpful and friendly. I would thoroughly recommend Sendean Cameras and would have no hestitation in using them again.

I have a Sony A37 which had hardly been used and because of that the Internal Battery failed meaning I had to re set the date time etc constantly.
I was recommended Sendean as a possible repairer, as Sony did not seem to be interested. I had hoped to drop into their central london shop but that had closed, so I spoke to them on the Phone and arranged to send my camera to them. They suggested a full service, which after so many years of virtually no use seemed sensible to me, the whole exercise was simple with excellent communication from them, and when all was done the camera was returned to me by post fully working.
Based on my experience I would recommend them to anyone with a loved old camera needing some TLC

Fantastic shop. Sendean Cameras fixed my 4 Voigtländer Nokton MFT lenses. The lenses now feel like new, giving me more years of continued usage out of these awesome lenses. Will definitely use again. Many thanks.

Hugely overpriced. I sent a Canon P body to them for an estimate for service as the top shutter speeds were capping and I’d read good reviews about these guys - however when I finally got the estimate - which I had to chase up as I didn’t come within the expected 5 working days - it was very generic (‘clean and adjust as required’) and gave no detail as to how they’d arrived at a figure of almost £600 for repair of what is a very, very basic camera. And in the context of my quite obviously declining to proceed, £24 for return postage (Royal Mail Tracked 24) is also rather steep (this is waived if you have the work done, at least)
My advice would be to save yourself well over £200 and go to Aperture UK instead, who are still quite expensive but I know from having Leica M bodies with much bigger problems fixed by them - as Leica specialists - they provide an excellent service (so I’ll send m P to them now instead)

A faster turnaround than expected based upon the last repair. The repair and service is priced at a level slightly below the cost of a second hand replacement lens. However, I now have a lens which should be as good as new
