Great work to reopen the Colne to Skipton Line
This company is fantastic, because they are campaigning to reopen the Skipton to Colne railway line, which is a vital missing link in the National Rail network.
Skipton to Colne reopening has an extremely strong business case, as there is much demand to travel from Colne towards Leeds, and likewise from Skipton towards Blackburn and Preston.
The level of demand is too great for the current bus service, hence trains are required to bolster the service and provide direct services for longer distance customers, who currently have to change buses.
The cost of the scheme is very low, and the benefits are huge, so the cost:benefit analysis suggests that the scheme should proceed; the company are doing a great job in furthering that aim
