They were due to start our loft conversion in February. They didn’t actually start until July. They said they’d be finished by Halloween, and now it’s almost Christmas and we still don’t have a bathroom. I’m very happy with the quality of each individual contractor’s work (except an electrician who installed a bunch of things in random places without asking us where we wanted them, and drilled into a water pipe causing a flood which collapsed our kitchen ceiling) but the communication with the main company has been abysmal. They never respond to emails, they never call back when they say they will, and they took payment in full (2 years salary!) 13 weeks ago and still have not installed the bathroom. Shouldn’t payment be completed when the work is finished? I very rarely write bad reviews, and would love to recommend Selcom, but I simply cannot.
Anyone can write a Trustpilot review. People who write reviews have ownership to edit or delete them at any time, and they’ll be displayed as long as an account is active.
