Not good
We purchased a Seddon Home last year and have now found out that we were mis sold a “fleecehold”. Seddon advertise that homes are freehold but then work in cooperation with Greenbelt Group to hide covenants into your deeds for the like of the property to pay Greenbelt Group an uncapped fee, for simple tasks like removing dog foul at £10 per property! An annual fee of £125 soon rises to £500, with other uncapped fees added onto this. Google search Fleecehold and also Greenbelt Group before thinking of putting down a deposit. I wouldn’t want anyone else to be stung like we were.

Hi Holly - thank you for your feedback - we have previously reached out to you on facebook to no avail as we actually have no record of you ever purchasing a home from us? Just to be 100% clear however nothing was ever "hidden" in contracts it was clearly noted, and all buyers signed with restrictions noted in there. We have never "worked in cooperation" with 3rd parties as you suggest to hide or increase. We have however changed the way we set up management company involvement on all our new developments and the Residents will now have a far greater say on how the open spaces are managed.
