Don’t order unless you like chasing…
Sinead contacted me through Instagram on Christmas Eve to say that she was gifting a free T-shirt with any order placed that day. I originally said I wasn’t interested, but decided I would place an order, after she also offered a discount. I have ordered twice before and really like the sweatshirts, so decided to order another. However, this third time I have had a bad experience.
I allowed the 7-10 working days for delivery, taking into account Christmas and new year bank holidays. My order hadn’t arrived. I contacted Sinead for an update and was told it had been posted, but obviously hadn’t arrived, so she would send a replacement that day, and supply tracking details.
I had to continually chase over the next two weeks to find out where my order was. I was promised multiple times it had been posted, but tracking information was never supplied. Only after chasing again, stating I now wanted a refund, was the order sent and tracking details finally supplied.
The order did arrive, a month after I placed the order, but no free T-shirt was included. The sweatshirt order is incorrect: I ordered a size small but the sweatshirt that has arrived is a large, but the size label has been cut out, so I can’t prove it. However, I put it against my other two jumpers purchased from this company, both size smalls, and it’s considerably bigger. I asked for type on the cuff, which was pointless, as I have to roll the sleeves up, because they are far too long due to incorrect sizing. The type is not typeset in the sans serif font I ordered, it’s in a serif typeface (I work as a graphic designer, so I work with typography every day).
I am hugely disappointed by this experience - the customer service was substandard, as was the product that finally arrived. It’s more effort than it’s worth to try and get a replacement or refund.
