We visited the store at Clifton Moor we were left to ourselves while looking around the store and when we decided about a couple suites a lady came to see us followed by a man called Wayne who gave us all the details of the suite we picked and eventually ordered.I found the staff were very friendly and weren't pushy which we liked.

We had a great experience at Poltrone Sofas in York and bought two sofas yesterday. Wayne was a huge part of our decision. He was so friendly, knowledgeable, professional and efficient, and made the whole process really easy and enjoyable without ever being pushy.

We visited several other sofa shops in York but ended up coming back here largely because of him. It makes such a difference when you feel you can trust the person helping you with a big purchase. We’re really happy with our choice and would definitely recommend Wayne and the York store!

Absolutely amazing from start to finish.

We were looking for a small power recliner sofa and the York store had a wide range available at various prices depending on the material chosen. The fabric options and design configurations were explained and then we were able to look around without interruption. Robert was very helpful and patient, clearly explaining terms and delivery arrangements etc. We were satisfied with the price, my only disappointment is that delivery will be about 12 weeks, or maybe up to 16 weeks - I realise this is due to the manufacturing process. Overall we had a very positive experience so far - hope delivery and product quality lives up to the promises.

The only criticism is they did not put overshoes on and we have just got a new carpet- so didn’t appreciate their big boots on the new carpet- I know it was a dry day but they still been on dirty paths/ roads outside

Delivery cost should be shown with price of goods as it’s pricey. Delivery experience very good on the day, efficient and telephoned prior to delivering, which was helpful as the tracking was showing much later times

every single member of staff i dealt with was amazing, super helpful and so polite. We ordered from the York branch and Rob was super knowledgable about what the company was selling. We ended up coming back and puchasing from another gentleman a couple days later, he was great at explaining the fiance options. the prodtuction was only a month, crazy fast for a custom sofa, and despite admittedly picking a sofa maybe a lil too big for our house, the two deliervy guys got it in without complaint, they were amazing. overall, just 10/10, everything was smooth and everyone knew exactly what they were doing
