the sale assistant was very nice and friendly. He did not rush you and listen to what you wanted.We was told the sofa and two chairs will take three months to make.Three months later bang on time we had a text massage saying it was in the depot. The day of delivery was told what time slot we had , and then about half an hour had phone call what time they will be there. A polite call. Two delivery men and the job was done. Avery quick friendly delivery with out any problems. Thank you and very pleased with the sofa and chairs.

Mostly our experience buying a sofa from your store was positive. We were certainly helped and all questions answered.

The only negative comment would be we were followed around quite a bit, so felt over powered, in the end I asked to give us some space, which of course he did.

All in all though the experience was good, I would give the review 4.8 overall.

Delivery was on time and the men were very efficient and polite. We’re very pleased with the product.

Furniture was damaged when it arrived and this was annotated on the delivery note. The driver took photos and said he would report it. I phoned Poltronesofa straight after and got a run around before Karen said she would pass it on and then advised that to make a warranty claim I had to use the online portal. Even though I disagree that it is a warranty matter I made the claim but 3 working days later have still heard nothing from anyone.

The crew came in and just got on with the job ,no messing around

We were offered help when needed made comfortable when given necessary information and not pushed making any decision when we needed to do further checks to decide if the sofa we liked would fit when delivered.

We purchased two leather sofas from this company and were delighted they were delivered on time. However, the two delivery men could not get one sofa in the room, and one said he had 15 years experience and could categorically say that it would never go in. They left it on its end in our hallway, and gave us a number of someone they said would remove the side and then reattach it later. This person, who we had no knowledge of wanted £200 to do this.
We went away on holiday very worried, we didn’t know what to do, and even considered having our lounge window removed, it was very stressful.
My son, who works from home asked me if he could try, and I agreed, providing he didn’t hurt himself or damage the sofa. Ten minutes later he sent me a photo of the sofa safely in the room.
Obviously we were relieved, and delighted, but then furious, we feel that we were not treated fairly.
We emailed poltronesofa on 3rd July and to date have received no response.
We went to the shop, where we were told we should have been offered a second attempt at delivery, otherwise, they weren’t interested. I phoned customer (no)service on 17th and 28th July and promised a call back but have heard nothing, clearly this company are only interested in your money. My next steps are Trading Standards and Social Media to get the message out there to never purchase from these people because they will try to rip you off and simply DO NOT CARE.

My husband and I went to the Hedge End, Southampton branch to view potential sofas. We were greeted by John who was extremely friendly and polite. He allowed us to look around at our own pace but when we had questions he was close enough to ask. When we decided on a sofa he was helpful to give us the best option for us. When we got home and after some long discussions, we felt we needed to change our choice so we went back the following day and spoke to John again. He was really helpful once more and tried to work out our best option again. Can’t rate him and this store enough. All the staff were very friendly because after spending so long in there over 2 days we began to have a laugh with them all.
