The consultants at Scott Dunn are amazing. They have first hand knowledge of the trips they are offering and give invaluable insights and advise. Have travelled to Peru and Kenya with them so far and have booked Botswana later this year. Best service I have come across in 40 years of travelling.

The service provided by Scott Dunn was exceptional from the very first phone call. Elie, our Costa Rican representative, listened to the brief and put together an amazing itinerary and once there, everything was perfect and worked like clockwork. Transfers appeared when they were meant to and the accommodation at each destination was spot on.

Our holiday to Oman was perfect from start to finish. The consultant spent a lot of time finding out what we wanted from our visit and her suggestions were spot on. The hotels were excellent, the drivers/guides were knowledgeable and made suggestions for making our sightseeing even more interesting than we anticipated. Oman is a beautiful, fascinating and safe country and we would have no hesitation in returning. This was our first visit to a Middle Eastern country and it won’t be our last with Scott Dunn.

We had a personal travel consultant who was extremely responsive to our needs, even when we were away on our trip. The lodges arranged were superb. All the travel arrangements were as expected.

Excellent professional service from initial enquiry to post trip de-brief. We are about to embark on our eleventh holiday with them and they have all been amazing. India, Tanzania and Zanzibar, China, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam, Ecuador and The Galápagos Islands, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Namibia, Antartica, which was our most recent experience in Nov/Dec 22 and a trip to Madagascar planned for the Summer. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Scott Dunn

Our trip to India with our two teenagers was the best planned and executed holiday we’ve ever been on. Rikki provided expert insider advice from the start and the team in India were professional, warm and efficient.

From the moment we boarded Sri Lankan Airlines at LHR it was a real treat throughout. Our driver was superb, the vehicle immaculate, all hotels wonderful, weather ropey in Kandy but unimportant. Food a real pleasure along with all special experiences

emailed about a trip to Lapland. Never got a response booked with Abercrombie & Kent in the end.

Ashley and others in the office were great. Responsive to communication, listened to our vision of the trip and delivered. Every step of the journey from planning to the actual trip was flawless. I would recommend them to anyone who wants some adventure, luxury, and ease all combined into one fantastic experience from start to finish.

Our honeymoon to South Africa was our first experience working with a travel planner and it will not be our last time working with Scott Dunn. Meg and the Scott Dunn team listened to us and learned what we were hoping to get out of this experience and they delivered. Our days were filled with activities that perfectly captured our style and vibe with seamless transitions from one thing to the next - completely eliminating the stress of traveling in a country we had no previous experience with. I highly recommend working with Scott Dunn for a unique, luxury travel experience.

Pretentious bunch of travel agents that you can’t even contact after payment is made. Zero value added service delivered, let alone any value. Do yourself a favor and book your own holiday. Stuck at home because we were not reminded to apply for a Vietnam visa. All of the many versions of itineraries we received said NO VISA required.

Waste of time and energy - not available when you call and don’t even bother to respond to enquiries when you leave a message.

We just returned from a wonderful adventure in Morocco thanks in huge part to the care, attention to detail, knowledge and contacts afforded to us by Scott Dunn. Ashley Hall is wonderful and it was such an easy pleasure to work with her in putting this marvelous trip together. We will never forget the beauty, fun and lovely culture of Morocco and will remain grateful to Ashley, Meg and the whole crew at Scott Dunn.

I took my husband, my two sons and my daughter in law on this never to be forgotten trip to South Africa. It exceeded expectations.
We went the last two weeks of July which is the perfect time to go.
Our agent, Meg Shepro, did a brilliant job planning and executing. She put up with my indecision (SO much money) and Covid delays for months.
Capetown:
We got there a day early hedging against jet lag but actually everyone was fine. We used the extra day without a guide to go whale watching. Don't do that. Too much driving and not enough whales.
Our guide from Scott Dunn was named Jackie Smith. Ask for her. She's flexible (literally and figuratively -- she does paddle board yoga). She took us to the shopping area, Table Mountain and the Cape peninsula. She was loads of fun and very well informed.
We stayed at More Quarters which was very nice (hot water bottles at the foot of the bed every night) but the barbed wire and the lack of sense of personal safety was off putting.
If (when!) I go back I will spend less time in Cape Town and more time in the Wine Lands.
The Wine Lands:
We stayed at Babylonstoren. OMG. It's like something out of the Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous. The accommodations were like nothing I have ever seen before and the staff was incredible as was the food.
The property is almost wholly self sustaining. I went to watch the sunset, but other members of my group reported that the wine tasting was the best ever.
I just wish that was had spent more nights there and less in Cape Town.
We got picked up at an absurdly early hour to spend several hours in the Cape Town airport -- I have to assume they had a reason for the early hour. We flew into Skukuza airport for safari and were met by our guide and taken the short drive to the lodge.
Safari:
We stayed at the Lion Sands River Lodge. It is BEAUTIFUL and the food was occasionally good but mostly fine. The accommodations were more Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous.
Our guide was IP and the spotter was Joe. Ask for them. They were lovely and on each of our outings we saw something special -- the high point being the new born giraffe and the unforgettable sight of several grown giraffes trekking over to see the new member of the clan. It was epic.
Flights:
Everything went fine until the trip home to Denver. Lufthansa cancelled our flight out of Cape Town and it went downhill from there. United was great. YMMV.
In sum, I cannot recommend Scott Dunn, Meg Shepro, Jackie Smith, IP and Joe highly enough. You won't be disappointed.

We could not be more DISAPPOINTED with our S&D experience. 3 weeks with multiple misses and disappointments. Booked a 40 minute flight which was switched to a 7+ hour drive. Room so small we literally could not open our luggage.

Scott Dunn set up a trip to Cambodia and Vietnam. They sent detailed paperwork which said that we did not need a visa. When we tried to get on a plane to Vietnam from Cambodia, we found out that we did need a visa and could not get one for several days, so we were stuck in the airport!
One star is too high a rating. Should be zero stars.
