Data harvesting and demanding people succumb to online only when most older people do not use tech.

Hi I don’t usually write reviews but I was surprised how lovely scotcash were . I went through a difficult time and when I call scotcash they were absolutely brilliant . When I told them my situation they were so helpful . Asked me if it was ok to continue with payments. And if I had any problems to call straight away. Honestly I’ve had to do it with another 8 companies and none of them have came close . So thank you . Really fantastic company
Be careful
Just be careful if you deal with this company because if you miss payments, then they’ll deduct money every month from your benefits, that’s if you’re claiming benefits. It doesn’t matter to them if you can or can’t afford the deductions as effectively you have no choice. There must surely be better lenders out there for those on low incomes, lenders who are at least ethical.
what a disgusting company who show…
what a disgusting company who show their customers no loyalty at all. I had a loan with them and have NEVER missed a payment and they said i was eligible for a top up loan. I applied for that and my circumstances hadnt changed in any way yet they turned me down. When i asked why they would not give me any justifiable reason and their chief underwriter was downright rude and said he wouldnt answer anymore emails. Thats how Scotcash treat loyal customers and they dont deserve even one star. Avoid this rude unloyal company.

Legalised loan sharks
Legalised loan sharks. I took out a loan in desperation, paid it off, then applied for another and cancelled it, they then blocked me from applying again.
Why yous ask for people's log in…
Why yous ask for people's log in details and passwords to get into my online banking says yous are crooks, that would give you full access to someone's bank account lol, you give me your details and I will give you mine lol, there is no company that would ask for full access to someone's bank account unless they are crooks, best avoided folks
This company is a joke do not touch it…
This company is a joke do not touch it they are worse than loan sharks got my wages arrested with this mob as I missed payments due to covid and my mother passed away so I have to pay for a funeral instead off the loan told this company this they said will give u time 2 pay then bang wages arrested and over 400 a month loss instead off 120 a month plus bloody cheeky 2 add 350 intrest what a joke
Really bad company
Really bad company. Applied for a loan took over a week and still not heard anything. Emailed the company for update. Received an email back to say that loan was approved and then a text also confirming this. Went on the portal to set up dd which wouldnt work. Had another email to day first emails and texta where incorrect and that it will be looked at by loan officer today after i made payment promises and set up bills on my bank ready for when loan went into my account. Within a few short minutes had another email to say i was declined didnt meet criteria. Thank you for wasting my time. I would not recommend waste your time and mess you about get your hopes up for nothing.
Bad company
This company are not fair and don't treat existing customers right. My Mrs had a loan from them paid them every single month for six months. It says on her account eligible for a top up on loan I also emailed Scots cash on her behalf and asked about the top up, they said when it goes below 50 pound she can get a top up on her loan. I did this for her, scotscash reply was, you don't meet our criteria for a loan basically was said, I emailed back oh really why is this when I'm an existing customer, no reply ignored wow!!!! Now my Mrs thought get a loan build it up for a bigger loan next Time. This company doesn't let you do that how can she get a loan then get refused second time. Paid everytime and no change of circumstances since last loan don't make sense. Avoid rip off company don't offer any help to their customers

Start of the application has been…
Start of the application has been simple, I required further documentation which I supplied swiftly yesterday morning. Unfortunately I go no acknowledgement or response to see if anything else was required. I did try ringing through a few times but got through to a Scottish lady’s voicemail. Hopefully the loan will be accepted and I will review again with a higher score if communication lines improve.

Terrible company
Terrible company. I would avoid like the plague. Applied for a loan on a Tuesday. Uploaded required bank statement within the hour. Loan was finally approved three days later on the Friday. Still waiting on loan funds being transferred to my bank account.
Absolutely shocking service. Tried phoning them, goes straight to voicemail. E mailed without reply. They are not contactable. I will be cancelling my agreement, as waiting a week and counting for funds is not acceptable.
I repeat. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

EXCELLENT.
This company Scotcash, seriously deserves genuine recognition and gratitude. Having worked in hospitality for many years (and finally scored a new job - long story !) I asked for £100 to buy some new clothes. Approved in a little over 24 hours.
Customer service-OUTSTANDING.
Thank you.
Guy (Cornwall).

Highly Recommended
Being sensible, I done extensive research on this company & read umpteen reviews before I decided to try for a loan.
The on-line application process was very straightforward (even for a PC illiterate oldie like me) & I didnt need to send in/upload various documents, give out my online banking info or anything else claimed in some reviews .
I got a reply later the same day telling me my loan had been approved!
Feeling wary, suspicious even, i read & re-read the loan agreement documents (emailed within hours of completing application) a few times after printing them off & even queried this via their "portal".
I got a reply from Claire who confirmed my loan had been approved & reassured me there was nothing else I needed to do & the funds would be in my bank account in 2 working days.
Wow! Thanks Scotcash!
Would recommend them to anyone!

Very fast and easy to apply!
Applied on Saturday and sent my bank statements electronically, on Monday I was emailed around 10am had to give information about my electoral role (reason I wasn't on it as long as I had lived at my address) and by 12pm I had been approved and signed all my documents. I'm now waiting on my loan being paid into my account, the administration fee now comes off your overall loan amount. Will update when the payment is in my bank.
All in all it was easy to apply and be approved so have no complaints 😃

Great company and very friendly and supportive staff!
Would recommend this company to anyone in need, great company although can take a little longer than other companies they do there best. Staff are also very friendly and helpful, was my first loan and everything went smoothly will be staying with them for future terms 110%! Interest rates are also not that high everything is affordable for anyone’s needs.

Easier to fly to the moon
I couldn't remember my password and the password reset option didn't work as the link to reset wouldn't come through to my e-mail address.
I contacted them by e-mail and the exchange was pleasant and eventually I did get the link and changed my password. However, on applying for the loan I noticed that a pin would come through to my mobile phone if the application was successful(presumably you have to enter the pin to accept the loan, otherwise why send the pin) but the phone number on my account was a old telephone number and you cannot amend it unless you phone Scotcash and now it was after 4pm and the office was closed. I cannot understand why you don't have the option to amend your personal details online(other than your password) once you are within your own account as any other sensible company would do. I asked if it was possible to delete my account at their end and then I would re-register a new account with them but I got a terse e-mail saying that was not allowed. All this and I only wanted to apply for a hundred pound loan. What a rigmarole! 2 hours of my life I won't get back. Best avoid.
