Absolutely amazing food great service, simply the best

Went sat 25 Jan 6of us for a anniversary meal excellent service and the food was first class one of the best meals we’ve had will definitely be returning

Was after a bottle of a certain 2017 port which they have on the Amazon site for just under £100. Complete rip off, secured six bottles of same for £12 a bottle. They have to be rip off merchants, I was very generous with two starts, none would be more like it.

I recently ordered a bottle of Kopke white Colheita Porto 2008 from you via Amazon UK for a birthday present...when the parcel was opened the bottle inside was a Kopke Colheita Porto 2008. I have tried to get this sorted via Amazon but to no luck apparently I can't return so now my partner has the wrong item which I paid a lot for and can't return...can you help...

Thank you, thank you, thank you. My sister died, suddenly 4 weeks ago and I wanted to send my brother- in -law a nice bottle to raise a glass to her. I am overseas, so couldn’t attend her funeral. I normally order through John Lewis or M and S, however, by 19 December they had stopped delivering for Christmas. My husband found a beautiful bottle of port on Amazon, which we ordered and paid a little extra for delivery by Christmas Eve. We weren’t hopeful that it would arrive on time but low and behold, I just received an email from my brother-in-law, saying it had arrived (21/12) - “a beautiful looking bottle - looks like a nice drop.” What a fantastic service. I’m so grateful to have stumbled over you. Definitely recommend and will use again in future.

No problems with the actual order, delivery etc. But! Is the wine real? Having paid a good price for italian Bolgheri I am dissappointed as it is not what I have tasted in Tuscany. Probably not the company’s fault but the wine is truly dissappointing for the price.

Very disappointing. I wish I had read other reviews before foolishly opting to try this cowboy sham, especially as I had seen better deals on amazon.

Wishing to place, I decided to email and check that the order was available and could be delivered on the specified day - four days later. Happy to pay extra for the delivery costs as it was important.
First warning sign should have been how long it took to even bother to reply to my first email.
Eventually I got a reply and all was agreed. I placed my order, and emailed them back to confirm it. No response.

I kept checking for my ebay notification that it was being posted etc..
In the end I started to be concerned that prehaps I wasn't dealing with a genuine or professional business, so I called them. The lady was polite and told me that she would check with the courier and get back to me. First lie.
Two hours later I called them again. A different person answered the phone and told me that he would look into it and call me back. Second lie.
An hour plus later and starting to get really annoyed, I called them yet again. At last one of them actually had the guts to be honest and admit that they had messed up and hadn't bothered to send my order.
No reason given why they hadn't tried to contact me to apologise. Maybe they hope that mug customers will forget that they placed an order that they don't get, so that this lot can keep the easy money.

No real reason given as t why they couldn't be bothered t actually send my order. They had plenty of notice, plus emails on ebay.

Really very disappointing, especially as there are so much better deals out there, that I wish I had tried. Maybe Saxtys are so rich that they can afford to lose customers and not give a stuff.

It also annoys me that the first two lying members of staff assured me that they would look into it and call me back. Clearly they were too gutless.

How can you trust a company where the staff lie to you. Gutless.
Don't waste your money with these cowboys. I see from other reviews that I am not the first mug to be in this situation. Clearly the one thing they claim to do, sell champagne, is too much bother for them.

There are other companies out there who will value your custom

Delighted with the purchase of a Sandeman port and gift tin. Delivery was excellent. Well done Saxtys.

Placed orders yet when chased up, they said the courier company stole it.

Then 4 months later i placed another order which didnt turn up. Chased for three days and no one emailed back or returned my calls. Eventually when i last called, they said they recalled order back cos they suspect me for fraud! Even though previous orders were stolen by courier.

Nice that they tell me im a fraudster AFTER they took my order and money. 4 orders and non fulfilled. The first three orders were placed same time and so got nicked by same courier. Saxtys even said themselves that the box is branded so gave away what the contents are.

Im now blacklisted by them. Feel like im being victimised. Phoney company. Avoid. Go to champagnes direct or champagne company. Both good companies i use.
