Sawyer & Co Financial Services

I didn’t buy a property via Sawyer & co but I used Sawyer&co Financial Services and Kirsten Taylor has been magnificent. Always there to help and advise and nothing was too much trouble. Kirsten dealt with every step of my mortgage application even when there were hiccups.

Excellent service

Our flat flooded and they didn't offer us accommodation

They left our flat to rot under the weight of damp issues and had the audacity to raise our rent. A maintenance issue caused our basement flat to flood with 4 inches of water, a dodgy pipe known to them which was situated above an electric radiator. They gave us a dehumidifier and expected us to live amongst the water. Absolutely bizarre considering the flat was uninhabitable. The staff were totally lacking empathy and in the end they discounted only a small percentage off of our rent despite the fact we could not live there and our belongings were soaked. Escaped contract by threatening legal action. AVOID!

Wow expensive experience

At first, when we moved to Sawyer block management in 2019, we thought Sawyer was a great company but when Sarah left it seems to have changed. In the end of 2019 works were done on the building amounting to £250,000 (divided by 9 flats so £27,000) and now they say the front elevation is £62,000 (5 neighboring houses that recently decorated the front elevation said they paid 1/5 if this and ours was decorated 7 years ago!) and next year £90,000! That is almost £45,000 per flat in 4 years. When we ask Katie to explain she gaslights. That is 1/5 the value of 3 of the flats and 1/6 of the others! So if you want to be ripped off, Sawyer is the company!

Unprofessional

About experience I have had with this company

Wouldn't bother applying for work with this company if your disabled as they will ignore you, not provide reasonable adjustments, and wont bother contacting you. Caused alot of stress having to contact indeed to get the application I used and they deliberately ignored every aspect of fairness and respect and as for being professional forget it. Ask them a question they ignore it need not say anymore. no common decency, professionalism or politeness or email "nothing" abysmal.

As for any lies from sawyer and co the job was removed when I reported them to indeed for discrimination after they hadn't complied with simple requests "no cost requests" and reasonable adjustment
