Extremely disappointed and dissatisfied…

Extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with my purchase. Poor quality clothes and dupatta was literally torn/not sewn properly, return is paid by customer for a damaged product, which is absurd because why should you pay for something they did wrong. I was offered half price refund of $70 but only received $55 in my bank. I do not recommend ever purchasing from this company.

Stay away from Sareez.com

Stay away from Sareez.com. This is by far the worst experience I had with an international purchase. They messed up my alterations and when I complained they said they followed the measurements as provided. I then took pictures of the lehenga with measuring tape for proof. They then said they couldn’t use my measurements because of the material and because the blouse would fall off due to the request of the back design of the blouse. Shouldn’t they have informed me of this prior to starting the alterations? Once I said I would go online and post about their poor service they said they would reimburse me my money and credit on their site for return shipping. When I went to ship the item back I found out it would cost me $70. Since I didn’t plan on purchasing from them ever again, a credit for shipping on their account would not be useful for me so I asked if they could just reimburse me $70 on my credit card rather than the full cost of the outfit. I would use this credit to have alterations done again in the states. At this point they said they are changing what they originally offered me to just $20 store credit and for me to keep my purchased item. I couldn’t believe it. I then told them this is why they have such bad reviews (which I discovered after my horrible experience) and that I plan on going online and voicing my concerns. They then went back to the original statement that they would reimburse me for the cost of my outfit and provide store credit for shipping cost once they receive the item back. How can I trust a company that goes back and forth on what they communicated? How do I know if they will honor this agreement once they receive this returned purchase? Stay away from Saarez.com if you want a worry-free service. It has been a nightmare!

Horrible experience

I ordered a turban for my wedding and provided Sareez with the colour code from the neelam colour chart, which is widely used in the asian clothing industry. Upon receiving the turban it was more like a colour code 244, than the requested colour. When questioned if they used the colour code provided (42D), they were unable to confirm which colour code had been used. Not pleased with the aftercare and customer service provided at all, given that the product was a completely different colour to what was ordered. Although they provided photos of the turban, as most of you will know, it is impossible to tell from a photo, if something matches, especially due to factors such as lighting, which can make things look very different in colour.

Fabulous Fit and Fashion

Sareez has high quality beautiful clothes at very reasonably prices! The customer service is outstanding, there is a quick turn around email reply and if they don't receive an answer from you they call to notify that you have been contacted.

I received all the sarees, and every saree looks so good, just like the pictures indicated. Very Happy with my purchase and can't wait to wear these beautiful sarees. Stiching is always perfect!!

Only bought from them since I had a…

Only bought from them since I had a friend who said it was fine to use. Bought 2 outfits adding up to about 192£ and the VAT came up to an additional 77£s. It was a lot of fuss to sort out and I was informed I will loose my money if I refuse to pay the VAT since the items will be disposed of by the shipping company. I was a bit surprised about this. I was told I will have to pay VAT, but I guess I didn't know how much it will be. This is definitely not worth for the price. The clothes were okay, not amazing, the colours were a bit different but we still liked it. The material was okay too. But if I added the VAT on I could buy the same sort of thing from local shops.

I contacted the customer service and every time they say they are following this up with DHL. I sent them all the details such as the invoice that they asked for. It has been more than a month and they have not resolved it. I don't think they even care to be honest, so a bit disappointed about the VAT and customer service following that, the product is acceptable.

So disappointed bought two Lehengas

So disappointed bought two Lehengas , one is so small like a panel that is missing . I'm a size 34 and this is made for a size 30 .What do I do now .
The other is of cheap quality , nothing close to the picture .
What a waste of money , shipping and customs costs . Never will I shop on this site no recommend it anyone.

I had a bad experience with you for my last order. Quality was bad and the response was slow. I had to spend 40 dollars to return the item only to be given a 40 dollar voucher. I don't want to spend any more money on your site due to the poor quality,but again I have to pay postage 7 the full price on the items .

However I would like to inform you that on silk materials in order to make the embroidery we need to paste some papers under the fabric so that the silk does nor shrink and once embroidery is done we remove it and if there's excess it can go away by washing. This is the standard procedure and if you think there's excess paper material then we really do sorry for that.

Worst customer service experience

Worst experience. Provided measurements within 24hours as directed by them. I ordered because they advertised that I will receive order before June 23- I did not get until June 30. it was of no use to me then. I would keep it if it was good but nothing close to how it looks on website. I was told by customer service- I didn't submit measurements therefore it was delivered late. That is a lie- to cover up their own website issue. I updated my measurements according to their instructions under my account very same day after I placed the order.
Not only they delivered late they incorrectly blamed it on me.
This is what is wrong their customer service. First they don't accept their problem that perhaps their website is not sending you proper message therefore they didn't see my measurements were updated within 24 hours and they are blaming me.
Learn to own your problems and resolve it properly for your customers.
This is absolutely your problem and you need to acknowledge it. Lengha is extremely heavy weight wise and impossible to wear and shipping back cost is $70 because it is so heavy. I'm not mad that mistakes were made I am furious about the response and customer service.

Unreliable

After being conscientious and choosing this website for some reliable Indian clothes that can be shipped to US, Sareez has not gained my trust. Their policy states that there is no guarantee that the color will be the same but it does not state that they will give you a whole different product than the one you purchased. Yes, they do constantly email you and keep you updated but if you are particular about your clothing do not buy from this site. They deliberately attached a different border on my salwar because they "did not have enough material". Can't the item just be labeled out of stock then? Why give your customers a hard time?

It looks like they don't even have enough material to stitch anarkalis to proportion, the top often ends right below the bust and not the waist as shown in pictures. It's the most unflattering design.The person who stitched my salwar also decided that you can create ruffles simply by cutting up the ends like a tinkerbell dress (which made me trip when I tried it in person) instead of wiring the ends. I had to get the ends cut off so I wouldn't look like a clown. The zipper was cheap and broke off within minutes of trying it on. Even after giving precise leg measurements the pants don't fit, it seems they are really stingy on the amount of material they use.

Also, when I first paid for my order I received bombarding calls that my credit card did not get through and they were asking for my card number. This was the first sign that they did not care or have any respect for their customers.

They may have good stitching and communication, but I believe it isn't worth it. Till now I still think it is best to go in person and buy clothing in spite of the price, since cheap venues like this are often outsourced to poor workers. The transaction is disappointing for both parties.

Worst experience ever ordering online! Total nightmate

Worst experience ever ordering online. Provided measurements and 2 outfits were completely off. I had to have it tailored since it was poorly made (short in the back ,longer in front) and was told by customer service "it still looks nice". It was supposed to be floor lenghth lengas but we're all knee lenghth when I recieved! I sent over 25 emails because customer service kept asking for photos and. asking me to explain what was wrong again and again. The 3rd outfit looked nothing like the photo so I asked to return it and they refused to even respond about that problem and now I've spent more on tailoring just to wear it to a wedding that I needed it for. I'm not mad that mistakes were made im furious about the response and customer service. Or lack of .. Also their customer service line for America doesn't even work, i could have avoided 25 emails if they wouldve just called to resolve it...instead I was offered a $20 credit. No thanks never shopping here again. I spent $70 on tailoring the mess they sent (too short, too tight, uneven lenghth) and the last outfits looked so bad I didn't even bother with tailoring. Do NOT order from here!

I am shopping on Sareez websites many years and happy with my previous order except the last one and I am very disappointed with my last order. The blouse is not stitched well it's too tight to wear and without good blouse I cant wear this saree. I sent my complaint and they are reviewing. If they don't resolve my issue, I will not do any more purchases from this website.
