A great offering that turned greedy.

I was an early adopter of Sant'Agostino and absolutely loved that they were providing fast access to medical care at reasonable prices. It made sense to pay for the private visit rather than go through the SSN. Now that they have opened up their pricing and it is nearly impossible to see a doctor under 100€ it just doesn't make sense as an option any more. Not to add that the care has drastically declined. If you're lucky you get 15 minutes of superficial attention as they have to maximize time & profit. There's really no interest in an accurate diagnosis as much as getting you out the door and on to the next patient.Reminiscent of the American medical system. I've also just learned about this new Dynamic Pricing as if they were Uber. Really embarrassing how they've put profits over people. Shame, I was a big fan of their initial philosophy, but at the end of the day they've just succumbed to money, money, money. Sad and literally the opposite of every Italian value. I hope people stop going here - I know I won't go again.

I wouldn't trust them.

I usually don't leave reviews but I thought I should in this circumstance.
I am from the UK but have been living in Milan for the last 9 years

I have been coming to the dentist here for the last few years (and once about 7/8 years ago)and every time I come out with about 5-8 cavities to do and a bill of 800-1000 to pay. Every time I came for an appointment they would also urge me to get my wisdom teeth out even though they weren't bothering me or causing me any problems. It's been 9 years and they are fine, no problems or worries.

After coming out of my last appointment with them and being told that I have about 8 cavities to do, I decided to book an appointment with another dentist to check up on the work being done. Also, I called Centr Sant'Agostino to get a copy of my latest x-ray/panoramica of my teeth and they initially refused to give it to me, causing a fuss and saying it was for internal purposes only and I COULDN'T HAVE A COPY. This is illegal. It is your right by Italian Law to get a copy of your panoramica/X-ray of your teeth. After causing a fuss the receptionist added it to myonline dossier and I was able to download it. She told me that it WOULDN'T BE VALID as it was done a year ago... My NEW dentist told me that it's valid FOR UP TO 5/6 YEARS!!

At my new dentist's today, they told me that most of the fillings that I had sorted at Centro Sant'agostino HAVE TO BE RE-DONE AS THE WORK IS TERRIBLE!! She also told me I don't have many problems to fix, my teeth are looking good, and the 8 cavities that need to be done don't exist! What a surprise!! She explained everything through thoroughly and I have to say the service was much better than CSA.

I won't be returning to Centro Sant'agostino as I don't feel that I can trust their service. Every time I went I got a different dentist and a lot of the work done by them has to be RE-DONE now as such a poor job was made.
Don't waste your money or your time!!
Also, get a copy of your x-ray/panoramic! It's your right!

Average.

I had to do a PCR test and there are few problems. You cannot cancel appointment 48 before (even if you book it day before).
Customer service is not really working. Delayed result.

At least they are honest and reimbursed me the whole payment.
