It is better to repair an old Briggs&Stratton engine then to invest in a new Sanli engine!
Engines from Sanli are made from extremely low quality steel that bends very easily. Second time we ran a Sanli engine lawn mower over the very same groung the previos Briggs&Stratton engine lawn mower cut for 10 years, we bent the crankshaft when we hit a tree root.
This is something we did innumerable times over 10 years with the older lawn mower. In fact the service for Sanli is so poor we ended up repairing the 10 year old lawn mower instead to only regret ever buying the Sanli engine mower.
