Sangoma / NetFortis / Fonality - Go with more modern tech.

Sangoma / NetFortis / Fonality, used to be a good company during an era when people needed old-school phones. Today, most of our communication is run through Teams or more integrated into larger software packages. Sangoma has cut costs by offshoring a lot of their tech support, diminishing customer service and making small problems a major headache. Their domestic sales and escalated support is professional (until you need to terminate). Also, double check for auto multi-year contract renewals. LAME.

One of these crappy companies that…

One of these crappy companies that advertise the price as the lowest one, yet when you look in to it, prices for the lower end of usage are sky high. The adveretised 17.99 is for 100+ users. Want only 5? That'll be 26.99. Website doesn't even say "From 17.99". Bit scammy.

In addition, I've learned that in Feb 2020, they gave TWO DAYS NOTICE on a Friday that ClearlyIP modules would be disabled and could not be re-enabled. Also scammy and disgusting business practise. Avoid.

Help is not existent

Help is not existent. I tried to purchase something from them, and 2 hours later I had to give up. They have no idea how their own purchasing system works. very poor walk away and find an alternative.
