26 months of waiting - A truly dreadful experience!!

I would strongly advise anyone considering this company to think very carefully before handing over their vehicle.

I was originally quoted a completion time of between 6 and 12 months. That estimate then became 16 months, then 20 months, and in the end it took an unbelievable 26 months before I got my car back. Throughout this period, I had to repeatedly chase for updates. As a paying customer, I believe I had every right to ask how much longer the work would take. Rather than receiving understanding or clear communication, the owner became irate with me, despite the fact that I had already waited over two years with remarkable patience.

The problems didn't end there. On the day I was told the car would finally be ready for collection, I arrived at 2:30 pm expecting to drive away. Instead, I didn't leave until 9:00 pm because the car was nowhere near ready. Numerous items had been left off the vehicle and had to be fitted while I waited.

When I inspected the car, I found that several components were missing altogether, including rubber grommets, blanking caps, seals and even the bonnet stay. The windscreen rubber seal had been damaged, the door seals had not been refitted correctly, and there were areas of paintwork that hadn't been properly finished, along with overspray that required immediate attention before I could accept the car. After waiting 26 months, I simply could not believe the lack of care and attention to detail.

My overall experience was nothing short of dreadful. The delays were excessive, communication was poor, parts from my car went missing, and the work was still not completed to a satisfactory standard after more than two years. This was an incredibly frustrating and stressful experience that I would not wish on anyone.

Based entirely on my own experience, I would never use this company again and cannot recommend them to anyone looking for a professional, reliable bodywork specialist. There are businesses that value their customers, communicate honestly, respect agreed timescales and take genuine pride in their workmanship. Sadly, this was not my experience here.
