Ruggles Horse-rugs Reviews 

I have purchased several Ruggles rugs over the last few years and find them to be excellent in quality and value for money. Great fit too. My biggest regret is that they have stopped making the 50g high necks which I find so useful rather than a combi or full neck piece.

I love the Ruggles heavy horse rugs. I have tried many other rugs for my big Irish Draft X but they all look like mini-skirts on him and don't fit his big shoulders or neck and I can barely get the neck pieces to go round. Ruggles have got it just right on the size for bigger horses. Thank you.

The rugs fit my dinky cob and welshie brilliantly no rubbing great durability and a lovely company to deal with 😊

Have two Miniature Shetlands and love the way the rugs fit so well. All their rugs are from Ruggles from stable to outdoor rugs.
Haven't bought any recently as the ones they have lasting so well.

We have bought Ruggles rugs for years and always recommended, Sadly ruggles have changed their designs and now the rugs which always fitted extremely well are poorer in their fit especially in the chest area. Sadly we now no longer recommend as we have been rather disappointed with the new style rugs. Please can you go back to your original style rugs. Last purchase was about 12/15 months ago.

I live in Florida USA and was in search of 'grey' miniature pony blankets but could not find one anywhere. I searched online and came across Ruggles horse rugs in the UK and they had the most adorable blankets in the perfect colour. I wondered if it would be worth it or not due to shipping costs. so I emailed the company to ask for their help. Diane went above and beyond for me with measuring rugs, to be sure I was ordering the correct size then packing up the goods and taking them to the shipping company just to find out what the cost would be. Not even knowing if she would make the sale. Long story short after a few very helpful emails back and forth. I ordered two rugs a halter and lead rope and the cost of all 4 items, including shipping was less than what I could have found the products for over here. Plus the quality of the goods was so much better. This will be my new go to store. The most amazing thing to me was they arrived in just 5 days from UK to USA. I was sure they would have taken weeks. 100% happy with my purchase. From great service to quality goods with a great shipping cost and speed.

Ruggles have rugs for Shires & Clydesdales. The length, depth & width are perfect. My Shire is not rugged all winter but when weather is extreme. Prompt service, free delivery & no quibble returns. Thank you for supplying larger breeds

I have a standard Shetland, and always struggle to get the necks to fit, but I know that a Ruggies rug will fit, and are excellent quality

fast shipping even with my order being placed just after christmas. i got the lycra hood with ears for my 13.2 new forest in size medium (he’s 5”9 in rugs) and it fits perfectly. he is quite short and stocky with a wide head so was intrigued wether it would fit with his wide big head and it does so i am very pleased. also makes him happier to stay out in the field in the bad weather as keeps the wind of his face which he loves as normally the wind and rain have him wanting to come in straight away but with this on he is happy and content.
