Nestled in the heart of Ramsden

Nestled in the heart of Ramsden, The Royal Oak stands as a beacon of warmth and homeliness. Upon entering, you're greeted by the rich aroma of hearty pub and sweet wood and the inviting hum of conversation, immediately making you feel at home.

The Royal Oak exudes a timeless charm with its rustic wooden beams, vintage decor, and a roaring fireplace that adds a cozy touch, especially on chilly evenings. The ambient lighting is perfect, striking a balance between lively and intimate, making it a great spot for both social gatherings and quiet nights out.

The staff at The Royal Oak are friendly and attentive, quick to offer recommendations and ensure your glass is never empty. While the pub can get quite busy during peak hours, the service remains efficient and accommodating.

The menu is a delightful mix of traditional pub classics and modern twists. The fish and chips are a standout, with perfectly crispy batter and tender, flaky fish.

The drinks menu is extensive, featuring a well-curated selection of local ales, craft beers, and a fine array of spirits and wines. Our particular favourite was the Oak Lager. The ability to sample beforehand makes all the difference.

The Royal Oak Pub is a delightful spot that captures the essence of what a great pub should be: welcoming, flavourful, and full of character. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, it’s well worth a visit for a memorable experience.
