If i could give zero I would
If i could give zero I would. This airline has the worst customer service of all times. Gives such a poor image of Morocco across the entire African continent and beyond. The government should just dismantle it and sell to better managers
No accountability, no follow-up
Royal Air Maroc damaged my luggage and has failed to resolve the claim for over a month. No confirmation, no timeline, no communication — only “processing”.
Very disappointing service and zero accountability.

I am deeply disappointed with my experience on Royal Air Maroc from Dubai to Douala.
When I arrived and opened my checked suitcase, my laptop was missing. It was securely packed before departure. The suitcase had no visible damage, which makes the situation even more disturbing. This did not feel like an accident — it felt like a violation of trust.
That laptop was not just an object. It contained my professional tools, important files, and personal data. The financial loss is serious, but the professional damage and stress are even worse.
What is even more frustrating is the silence and lack of proper response. Being ignored after such a serious incident adds to the disappointment. A company should protect passengers’ belongings and take responsibility when something this serious happens.
I expected professionalism and security. Instead, I am left with loss, stress, and unanswered emails.
This situation needs to be taken seriously. Passengers deserve better.

they’ll get you where you need to go
The flight was fine, but the customer service has been horrible. My luggage was damaged in October 2025 and now it is February 2026 and these people refuse to pay me back after agreeing to pay me for the damages. Customer service agents take forever to respond to my email and I always have to call them and the agents always can’t do anything.
This is the worst airline I've ever…
This is the worst airline I've ever patronised in my entire life. I boarded their airline in Augus 2025, and my baggage was stolen/lost which I complained to them. After months of investigations, they couldn't find my baggage and still haven't paid me for the baggage loss. I had called them more than a thousand times but the same whole story all the time by their customer service agents. Would rate them zero if that was available. They should be shut down by aviation authorities and I'm planning to now go legal with them.
If I could give zero stars I would
If I could give zero stars I would. After boarding the flight, we sat in the plane for 3 hours (not exaggerating) with absolutely no movement and no information. After three hours of holding us, they announced that the flight has been cancelled and we must deboard. Next, we waited in the airport to get our baggage and to get answers and next steps from 12am to 3am. It is now the next day and they STILL are not giving updates. They just sent an email saying new flight information will be given tomorrow- so that will be two days delayed with no information given or a rescheduling made. No accountability and just left us all in the dark. Do not book with them.
Operational Failure and Zero Customer Care
I am writing to express my serious dissatisfaction regarding delayed baggage handling on my recent flight from Casablanca to Marrakech.
Upon arrival in Marrakech, my suitcase did not arrive. I was informed it remained in Casablanca and would be forwarded on one of two flights later that evening. I was told I would receive it early the following day.
The next day, I received no communication. I returned to Marrakech airport myself to follow up, only to be told that the suitcase was not in Casablanca — it was still in Doha. This contradicted the initial explanation provided at the airport.
The handling of this situation has been highly disorganized and unprofessional:
• Conflicting information about baggage location
• No proactive communication or updates
• No delivery service to accommodation (I was required to collect it from the airport)
• No guidance regarding compensation for essential purchases
• Significant delays with no clear timeline
While I understand operational disruptions can happen, what is unacceptable is the lack of accurate information and customer support.
Additionally, when I visited Marrakech airport to follow up, there were many other passengers waiting for missing baggage as well. This suggests that delayed luggage may be a recurring issue and not an isolated case.
Passengers should not be required to repeatedly travel to the airport to retrieve baggage caused by airline handling errors. Proper coordination, transparency, and customer care are expected.
I request:
• Immediate confirmation of final baggage routing
• Delivery to my next destination (Fes) as agreed
• Reimbursement for essential purchases made due to the delay
This experience has significantly affected my trip and confidence in your airline.
First time flying. 👎🏼
This is the first time I am traveling with this airline. I bought a return ticket with Royal Air Maroc. On my outbound flight, I was 10 minutes late, so the gate was already closed. This was indeed my fault. Unfortunately, there was no service desk, and no one was available to help me with this problem. I contacted customer service, and they told me that I also have to pay €150 to be able to use my return flight. So I am being punished twice? It feels unfair, and it seems like they take every opportunity to charge extra.
Completely Dis-organised.
We were denied boarding 6 months after we booked and paid for this flight despite receiving email notification the previous day to check in at the airport about 3 hours to the flight. We arrived at the airport 4 hours before the flight and we were not even checked in. We were instantly told the flight was over booked. Overbooked? A flight that was booked 6 months before the date of flight. As at today, the airline is yet to compensate or respond for their dis-organisation even after giving us forms at the airport to claim compensation stating denied boarding for no fault of ours. This is totally unacceptable for an airline.
never again
I don't have the strength to write anymore. So I have to summarize... terrible and never again
Worst airline ever
Worst airline ever! You cancelled my flight back and did not provide any notice on Nov 19th which cost me significant money and a two day delay getting home. I'm still going around and around with your customer service and they use excuse not to pay. I submitted receipts and invoice from hotels etc. didn't even bother with food, which according to the Montreal Convention I can. They then wanted a stamped invoice, but they didn't say from whom. So I made one from myself for monies due and did a watermark in Nitro PDF since we don't use Stamps in the US and they said it was fake. I fly over 100k miles a year an am Executive Platinum with AA one of your One World partners which I am Emerald so I am a well seasoned traveller
Lost baggage at YYZ – ground handler refused PIR, airline failed to intervene
I had a very disappointing experience with Royal Air Maroc regarding a lost checked bag after arriving at Toronto Pearson Airport (YYZ).
After my flight from Casablanca, my checked luggage did not arrive. I waited more than two hours at the baggage carousel before contacting the baggage services desk, which was operated by Swissport, Royal Air Maroc’s ground handling partner at YYZ.
The Swissport representative refused to issue a Property Irregularity Report (PIR), refused to take my delivery address, and did not initiate any baggage tracing. The interaction was unprofessional and escalated unnecessarily, despite my calm and cooperative behavior. The entire interaction is documented on video.
An airport officer reviewed the situation and advised me to leave the airport and claim the bag later using my baggage tag, since I had already waited a long time and missed my transportation. Because no PIR was issued, no official baggage file exists, leaving me without tracking, delivery, or assistance.
Despite being informed of these facts and provided with evidence, Royal Air Maroc has not taken responsibility for resolving the issue or correcting the failure of its ground handler. Airlines remain responsible for baggage handling even when third parties are involved, and this responsibility was not met.
This experience reflects poor coordination, lack of accountability, and inadequate customer support. I would strongly caution travelers to be aware of these risks.
This airline is by far the worst…
This airline is by far the worst airline in history. On the 19th December 2025 my luggage went missing for 2 days only for it to be returned shredded in pieces. Personal belongings destroyed with others missing. Important to note there over 100 other customers who couldn't find their luggages that morning. It was a frustrating and a total mess. It's been nearly 2 months now and I am still going back and forth with my agrees compensation. I wouldn't recommend this airline to anyone.
During my trip with Royal Air Maroc
During my trip with Royal Air Maroc, traveling from Washington DC to Morocco and then onward to Tunisia, I had a very unpleasant experience at Terminal 1. One employee responsible for letting passengers through weighed my carry-on bags and claimed they were overweight, demanding €80 per bag. When I refused to pay, he repeatedly told me to “come here” and suggested he could “make a deal,” which felt unprofessional and inappropriate. I then went to another employee, who confirmed that this behavior was not acceptable and allowed me to pass through the gate without paying anything. On top of this, the overall ambiance in Morocco was uncomfortable, with constant pressure from people asking for money, making the experience feel stressful rather than welcoming. This lack of professionalism and poor passenger environment seriously damaged my trust in the airline and the travel experience as a whole.
For the second time my main luggage was…
For the second time my main luggage was not put on the plane to my destination. Both transits were through Casablanca although plenty of freight arrives in fact boxes of them. Then the luggage is put on the next flight. If you are transiting through Casablanca be warned. If you can find an alternative airline take it.
In January 2025
In January 2025, Royal Air Maroc lost my checked baggage. I never received my suitcase for the entire duration of my trip.
After returning to Canada, I filed an official claim and provided all requested documents, including a detailed compensation claim with a full list of missing items.
More than one year later: no response, no follow-up, no compensation. Complete silence.
This is unacceptable, unprofessional, and not worthy of an international airline.
I am requesting an immediate response and proper resolution of my case.
Based on this experience, I strongly advise against flying with Royal Air Maroc due to poor customer service and lack of accountability.
Worst flying experience ever, go elsewhere!
I’m only here to give the review I wish I saw before I flew with them. DO NOT DO IT. Delayed/ lost luggage, stranded in Morocco for 24 hours. Don’t bother. Go elsewhere!
Terrible transit policy
Terrible transit policy. Had an over 8 hour transit at Casablanca airport, flying in and out on Roysl Air Maroc. They promise to give you lounge access and food vouchers for long transits, but they refused them to me because I booked the ticket on Qatar Airway’s website. RAM still get the money whichever website I book on. Great business strategy, as they have lost a customer for life. I will never fly with them again. I will never transit Casablanca again.
The airline damaged my suitcase and 1 year later still waiting for my money!!
The airline damaged my suitcase, it's been 1 year and still haven't received the promised compensation to repair it even though I phone nearly monthly. Would never fly with them again.
Lost my kite gear
Lost my baggage, admitted fault, agreed in writing to pay compensation. Months later: still no money. Endless excuses, ignored emails, empty promises on the phone. Absolutely unacceptable and exhausting. Avoid if you expect issues to be handled properly.
