Watched a great series tonight that had an 8% score and watched an absolutely terrible film with an 60% score, someone please explain this 😅 obviously I know why they rate based on where the money lies, we seen this before, the only thing keeping this site going now is the fact it's linked with Google and comes up when your search a film 🧐 but that's just pure coincidence, it all is. Maybe cancel Google 🤷‍♀️

Used to be pretty useful but unfortunately it's become just another boneheaded political activist site. Reviews are not posted unless they agree with RT's chosen political narrative. Which of course wildly distorts scores and makes the whole exercise totally pointless.

On this site political agendas weigh more than movie quality. Majority of critics hail from the same echo chamber were shallow virtue signaling is the hip trend.

It does not help that they do nothing against the obvious positive-review-bombing by marketing departments either.

No, sure. "Shang-Chi" is the Citizen Kane we've all been waiting for, according to thousands upon thousands of "verified reviews".

Critically acclaimed movies are mostly boring affairs. Movie critics are too pretentious to recognise an entertaining movie. They are just a bunch of Rotten Tomatoes.

Rotten Tomatoes = An unreliable site for people who want to watch a good, entertaining movie.

The perceived political bias of a movie is more important to Rotten Tomatoes than the actual movie itself.
You cannot rely on its scores at all.
I wasted Almost 2 hours of my life on the worst movie I have ever seen yet Rotten Tomatoes gave it 100% fresh. Smh.

Pure garbage. Shut this assplay down. Worthless. Reviews are not on point like imdb. That's the 1 thing.

I enjoy being able to express my opinion when the site allows it. But it is obvious that studios pay them big money to censor and not allow reviews. Disney studios and the Star Wars movies and shows are the biggest example of this.

Rotten tomatoes has a list of Top 100 movies... Not of the 21st century but of All Time. Here are a few examples of this list....

1. Black panther
4. Blackkklansman
6. Mad Max: fury road
7. Spider Man: into the spider verse

These movies are mediocre at best, some leaning more towards the not good side of the scale. I know how movies are subjective to the viewer, but this is blatantly wrong.
Film critics are presiding over their own funeral. If people stop giving heed to their reviews, then their jobs will become obsolete.

Removing, resetting, and/or otherwise manipulating reviews, comments, feedback and audience scores under the pretext of "it's trolls" is simply censorship. A pretext for censorship and blatant manipulation. One observer's "troll" is another observer's valid critique and opinion. It's Orwellian BS, like these hypocritical leftist platforms that police so-called "hate speech" and where enforcement and interpretation is arbitrary, capricious, subjective and one-sided.

More accurate than imdb, less informative, especially with the lack of trailers. But if you're looking for better reviews, this is definitely better.

Rotten Tomatoes is another left-wing propaganda website that won't let you publish your review just because they do not agree with your opinion about movie/TV show. What's the point staying on such a totalitarian website where you're not allowed to review movies and TV shows just because they don't like it? It is another liberal left-wing propaganda website where truth isn't allowed to be heard. They are probably paid by Hollywood. Worst thing is, you can't even delete your account. You need to write them via email and ask them to delete your account manually.

I don't watch any movie unless I've checked Rotten Tomatoes, how else would I know they're good?! Thank God for Rotten Tomatoes, saved me so much time from terrible movies

Rotten Tomatoes is my go-to place for movie reviews. I like the mix of reviews from critics and members of the public. The newsletter is good too, as it contains a nice mix of reviews, news, trailers, etc. Recommended.
