This is the first time I have ordered meat through an online service as I am pretty fussy when it comes to my meat purchases. It has arrived today at the time they said and the packaging was top class. All of the meat was excellent and as good as I would have picked myself, nothing was missing, substituted or sub standard. I am amazed at how lovely all my meat is and I will certainly be using Rooks again. Thank you Rooks for my order, I can't praise you enough.

Absolute rubbish in every sense...these are NOT butchers: we tried their pies, and they are an absolute joke, they don't even know what a pie is, they never respond to any criticism, they are trying to sweep it, just like their "products", under the floor. Disgusting in every sense. DO NOT SHOP IN THIS PLACE. Go to anywhere but here, Aldi/Lidl even!

This company provided us with outstanding customer service (not to mention the quality of their food is fabulous).

While I was at work (after placing an order) I had several missed calls from a number I didn't recognise.

My delivery turned up the next day (with fabulous packaging) however some items were wrong, I'd ordered S&K Suet pies and received Chicken & Mushroom. I emailed the company and had a conversation with Ben, he confirmed it was him that was trying to get hold of me to tell me that they had run out of stock and would I be happy with the replacement, but as he couldn't get hold of me, he had to make the decision on my behalf as the courier was in the building.

To cut a long story short, he made the decision but also sent the replacement the very next day.

This was excellent customer service as far as I'm concerned, so many companies would have just not tried so hard, or just sent 'wrong' items without any notice.

Oh and the pies, they are amazing!!!
