Very poor guest experience at Roe Valley Resort
I attended this 4-star Hotel for a friends 70th feeling that I had made a reputable choice. I also spent a lot of money on treatments for my friend.
Upon vacating the room I accidentally left my " designer sapphire blue" swimsuit behind as did another guest in the same room. When I tried to locate both swimsuits 2 days later ..I was told they must have been accidentally put into the " white towel wash" by housekeeping staff. I was alarmed at the fact I did NOT retrieve either of them & that the excuse made was beyond a joke. I was reassured that the Duty Manager would contact me the following day to let me know the outcome!.
Ten days later I'm still waiting...
At the very least they should have offered some recompense to the lose of 2 very expensive swimsuits in relation to their " duty of care" to guests. What were they hiding???
This experience has resulted in me writing this because I do NOT want anyone else to feel as though they were a" simple nuisance" when questioning housekeeping management in Roe Valley Hotel.
I will definitely NOT be returning here again & will advise my friends likewise,because of the shoddy manner in which I was treated. Incidentally Galgorm are in process of taking over this hotel ...so I will NOT be trusting this company / their hotels either Extremely dissatisfied guest.
