While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

Appallingly rude, defensive and deeply incompetent

I took my £75,000 Defender in because it was stuttering and losing power under acceleration. I explained this clearly when booking. The car was there all day. I had to chase twice for updates, and by 4pm it was obvious they had done nothing meaningful. The car is still stuttering – the original fault has not been diagnosed or fixed.

Worse, it was returned with the wing mirror casing missing. No explanation. No quote, despite requesting one. When I raised it, the receptionist shook her head and snapped, “It must be on the seat.” I hadn’t even been given the keys. Her daughter then told me I shouldn’t be complaining. When I said I would leave a review, she replied, “I will review you too.”

They later said they wouldn’t charge me – for doing nothing.

My car has come back worse than it went in. Arrogant, defensive and completely incompetent. Avoid.
