Just received my first order from Robinsons of Bawtry and was impressed, not only with the speedy delivery, but the Boss Polo Shirt i ordered had an amazing price that couldn't be beaten anywhere else. Added to that were the nice touch of a free gift that arrived with my order all meaning I will definitely be ordering from here again!

Worse experience I have ever had, bought a new, yes NEW moose knuckles coat. Unfortunately what I received was not new.
What I received smelt of aftershave on the collar, the tag had been stuck back together with glue and there were mud stains on the arm.
I do understand things get missed and if something goes wrong, this is where customer service is key.
I emailed them to be dismissed with ‘the smell will be the car air freshener in the box with the coat’.
I then went on to explain the tags had been stuck back on and there was dirt down the arms. I was told to send it back.
No sorry or an offer of an alternative or equivalent. They refused to pay my postage initially but then later someone that knew what they were talking about said it will not charge me.
Customer service were dismissing at each no point which made me feel undervalued and and confident I will never shop there again. Below is my email,

Maybe when I had the discussion on the phone this should have been explained, not that you will reimburse the postage. If I then receive a dismissive email regarding postage having been told something else, why do you think this may be misinterpreted.
I think you have view this in a very blinkered manner, I spent a lot of money on a moose knuckles coat and every business should be focused on that experience thereafter if someone chooses to spend their hard earned money with your business. Let me tell you what I received.
Firstly a coat that smelt of aftershave with a car air freshener stuck to it, there were 2 obvious muddy marks on the right arm and on closer inspection I could see that the tag had clearly been removed and stuck back together with glue.
My first email received was that it’s just the air freshener it’s not aftershave.
I then raised the marks and tag issue and was told that I would have to pay for the return postage through Royal Mail which I followed the instructions and did. The agent told me they would refund the postage.
This is my experience Robinsons of Bawtry. I was offered nothing for the experience I had, I was offered no alternative option which I should have been as this was not my fault in anyway.
Clearly with the response I imagined it all. I have the images and can upload them if there was the capability.
Good customer service includes accountability. A simple we missed this and apologise would be a better response than excuses that are clearly false as my images confirm.

This was my first time purchasing online with this retailer. I had a very positive shopping experience. Wide variety of choice of products. Vast range of brands. Good stock levels. Very competitive pricing. Communication throughout was fab throughout, with a confirmation email received immediately confirming my order details and another email confirming delivery details. Delivery was fast and on time. Unfortunately the top I purchased for my husband did not fit and had to be returned. Return process is easy, with a step-by-step guide of what to do. I immediately received a email with a QR code to return my order via Royal Mail.
Came today with my husband who needed to purchase a couple of shirts , trousers and belt.
Tbh absolutely disgusted with the sneering attitude of the sales staff when we walked in. Very lucky I didn’t rip their heads off. We may not look like we have “money” but looks are deceiving

Ordered the items and received updates from purchase through to delivery. Item was beautifully wrapped and delivered promptly. Even popped a Robinsons car air freshener in for free! Shop with confidence- Item just as described. Thank you!
Was given a discount code. There was nowhere to add it and the order was placed at the full amount. Contacted the company, and was told they are unable to add the discount. Called customer service to cancel order and they were unhelpful and disinterested. Will be returning item and not purchasing from them again
