Service has been better …
I have used Robert White on several occasions before and my orders have always been packed very securely and delivered Nextday!
Things seem to have changed a bit, however, at Robert White’s and my latest order for a Voigtlander 40mm f/2 (Nikon fit) Lens, was despatched via a Royal Mail 48-Hour Service and in my view had been quite shoddily packed - with very little parcel-tape on it - and on receipt - the parcel looked as if it had been opened in transit. I’m not entirely sure therefore that Robert White will be my natural first choice for purchases in the future.

As I mentioned in our email a few days ago, we normally tape every side of a box to ensure security. We ship internationally every day and take package protection seriously. I can confirm that nothing has changed in our shipping processes at Robert White, and the lack of tape on your parcel was simply an error. The free 48 hour shipping was fully tracked and insured against any form of loss. There are of course paid for next day delivery options should you prefer.
We are ultimately thankful your new lens arrived in perfect condition and do hope the error in the outer packing of your order will not put you off using us again in the future.

Professional and knowledgeable
Both Jack and Ian were incredibly helpful. I was looking for a solar filter for the partial eclipse. Initially they didn’t have one but came with a solution to stack two together. I bought the filters and was very kindly lent the lens adapter and holder. Jack followed up the purchase with a really useful email which I believe helped my final photos. A truly professional company with the knowledge to match!
