Service, Service, Service
From the first contact with Roann to getting our new worktops fitted, I cannot fault anything about Richard and his team. If I could give more stars I would.

From the first contact with Roann to getting our new worktops fitted, I cannot fault anything about Richard and his team. If I could give more stars I would.
Brilliant service from the whole team at Roann, from the initial quote from Richard to the communication regarding dates from Lauren and Sarah, the workmen that did the template and the installation were polite and courteous and the finished product looks fantastic.
I recently had the pleasure of working with Richard at Roann Quartz Worktops, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we were helped picking our design it was clear that we were in capable hands.
Initial Consultation
Richard took the time to understand our needs and preferences, guiding us through the various options available. His extensive knowledge of quartz materials was evident, and he was more than happy to answer all our questions. It was our first time buying quality quartz, and Richard made the process feel effortless. Would highly recommend Roann and the Team 👏
Excellent proffesional service from start to finish
I had the pleasure of meeting Simon Robson who was fantastic from the get go, very knowledgeable and helpful. Estimates were sent through promptly and questions answered quickly. Nothing was too much effort.
After I made our order I was passed to Susan Telfer and Faye Kidger, again great communication, after sales was Becky Jeffreys who communicated with my builders before installation. I didnt get the name of the guy that came to template or the fitters but would welcome them back anytime as they too were brilliant.
I would not hesitate to recommend this company, amazing service and very happy with the worktop, great quality extremely pleased.
Absolutely love my worktop! The team at Roann were so helpful and made everything really easy from start to finish, with great communication the whole way through. As this was my first time designing a kitchen from scratch, they were amazing at talking me through all the options and making sure I got exactly what I wanted. The fitting team were just as brilliant — super clean, really friendly, and took so much care with every little detail. Couldn’t be happier and would highly recommend!
After receiving an email from Roann, accusing me of defamation, for leaving them a bad review, i have amended with dates. Defamation is when a statement is false or untrue, which mine is not.
Around the middle of September, I contacted Roann about changing my kitchen worktops. I then ordered some samples to pick one. On 17/9/25. I recieved an invoice for 'supply and fitting of worktops' in my mind, this would also include removal of the old worktops ie to fit the new ones. I then asked what their availability was like for measuring/fitting and was told the invoice needed to be paid to book an appointment for this. The samples arrived and on the 20/09/25 I emailed to let them know choice of worktop. On the 25/09/25 I had an email asking if I was ready to book in. I replied saying I was, if they could let me know their availability for measuring, I recieved a response saying once id paid the invoice they could measure Thursday. I replied saying i was at the hospital with my son and my husband would be able to pay once home from work. I then recieved another email the same day (29th) saying to pay the invoice to book in. The same day again, I was copied into an email saying to cancel our appointment as I hadn't responded. I'd already told them my husband was at work and I was in the hospital, ann we hadn't yet booked or agreed to this anyway ie time or date. I replied saying I still needed to know availability to be able to pay.
Someone attended on the Thursday to measure and only then started telling us we'd need to pay for extras, things we were not made aware of at the point of sale. Such as removal of old worktops, upstands and timber. We were also told we'd need to find someone to disconnect tap and appliances, something we had assumed the fitters would be able to do and we'd now have to pay extra again.
After this, we were called with someone telling us they would be here the following day to fit the worktops, without pre arranging and we hadn't sorted out someone to disconnect anything so we had to ask to rearrange.
Then they done the same again, without arranging or letting us know.
We recieved an email on the 31/10/25 stating that our job had been delayed due to them not having the product in stock. The email I had from Roann about my previous review stated I needed to amend it to tell people that this was a 3rd party issue and not an issued caused by Roann. No where, did it state that this was down to a 3rd party issue and we were not aware of this. The contract of sale lies with Roann and not with any 3rd party, so this is irrelevant.
After they had already told us on 2 occasions that they were coming to fit the worktops, it seemed a little strange that only a couple days later, the product was then out of stock.
At this point we requested a refund. This request was made on the 31/10/25. We were told the refund would be sorted on the Monday. We emailed throughout the week chasing the refund with no response. On 7/11/25, only after id left my review, did we recieve a response about our refund request.
They said they would sort the refund the following Friday (the 14th) but as we'd already had measurements taken would we rather go ahead anyway. I agreed to this and removed my reviews as believed the matter had been dealt with, only to then recieve an email stating that my statements were damaging under the defamation act.
Further - They have now fitted the worktops, our hob now does not fit (was not told this before either) our walls are all damaged and need replastering and painting (wasn't told this would be necessary either) I also asked specifically if they could install the tap and was told they would fit and install tap but would need a plumber to connect, they refused to install tap and we've just been left with a hole in the worktop, and a hole in the bottom of sink, I contacted Roann to ask and got a response from the same man who told me they would fit the tap saying 'who told you we would fit the tap, i certainly didn't' i then had to send him a screenshot of his own email, reading 'we can put in place but a plumber will need to connect' left with no working sink or hob on a Friday evening with 3 kids and a baby.
The only good thing, is that the worktop looks nice. As they like to point out, this isnt even from them, its from a 3rd party.
Avoid at all costs.
Awful. Hounded us for weeks to prepay, telling us that people were coming to measure without us even agreeing a price. We paid and then they told us they didn't have the materials we ordered and have no restock date. Now over a week in chasing for a refund with no response at all. Richard Silverwood is incredibly pushy and rude and the company cannot deliver what they promise. Avoid these utter cowboys.
I was going 80mph this morning on the A1 when the Roann van came flying up behind me and sat on my ass flashing before doing an incredibly dangerous overtake and narrowly missing the front of my car!!
Looking back on reviews it seems they've always been like this, so I'd never trust them with a worktop.
Furious! Travelling on the A14 when two vans approached me from behind flashing their lights. I immediately thought they were Police just about managed to get pulled over to see two Roann vans come flying past me.
Hopefully they won’t kill anyone on their way back up to Yorkshire.
Superb product, and service.
Julie did a great job in sales showing us what could be done, how joins would lokk etc etc.
Templating done only 1 day after kitchen fitting completed, so great scheduling.
Fitting ran into some issues:-
Problems with one of the slabs led to a delay, but they came on a weekend to try to get it completed in time.
Further issues when one of the slabs didn't quite fit, but rather than try to cut it on site, they wisely decided it should go back to the factory.
Some stress in getting things complete, but calm and responsive attitude from Keeley.
One fitter was more interested in saying how poor a job every other contractor we'd used had done, then he didn't do his own job very well ! (but Keeley organised another visit to ensure everything was completed to high standard).
Final result is stunning, fabulous product, well fitted.
I have recently bought and had quartz worktop fitted by Roann. They gave me a great quote which they did not increase even when extra bits were added. They were always very friendly and helpful over the phone. The worktop templating and fitting was fabulous: a really professional job we couldn't be happier with the finished product.
Really great company to deal with. Becky was pretty exceptional from start to finish. Thanks so much.
