Do not use this for international…

Do not use this for international travels to Japan, Bali and Singapore. Not sure about the other counties but this wireless is garbage. Actually worse than garbage. Paid over 200 USD and only worked 1/4 of the time. DO NOT use or else you be stranded with no WiFi.

Easy to use & EXCEPTIONAL International Hot Spot Service!

I needed to travel overseas (Philippines) and remain connected to work and home (USA). I wasn't quite sure what service I should use as the one I had previously used for a trip to Mexico took some time to set up and get my phone and laptop connected (had to have the unit act as a modem to call out and would time out, etc.). With Roaming Man, I was able to sign up, was even sent a discount code with initial sign up, unit was sent in plenty of time prior to my trip so that alleviated any stress or worry. The unit arrived fully ready to go with easy to understand instructions, charging cable and its own individual travel pouch. It was also sent with a pre-printed and pre-paid return label for use upon my return. I had done some cost comparisons of international hot-spot service providers and Roaming Man had the most positive reviews based on travel to areas outside of the USA - especially Asia (I was traveling to Philippines so this was wonderful news!). I was indeed skeptical based on prior experience as I had mentioned but this time, the experience was soooo different! If you have any questions during the ordering process, they have an agent, a live human being, available via their website chat - polite and efficient! Again, once the order is placed, you have the option of how it is shipped to you (i.e., overnight, priority, etc.). I ordered 8 days before my departure, selected their normal shipping option (based on the recommendation of their chat personnel) and the unit arrived 3 days later. You are kept informed when it is shipped, and upon your return, a reminder is sent for you to return the unit to them using their prepaid shipping label. So how was the service while on travel? It worked AMAZING! I had faster service than those that purchased local (Philippine) hotspot units! The service/unit I ordered allowed up to 5 devices to be connected. And not once did the speed slow down! Even in remote areas of the Philippines, I had service where my normal cell phone did not. I cannot think of any negative experience to note while using Roaming Man. I do have one recommendation and that would be to make sure you have a spare battery pack to charge the hotspot unit when traveling - one dedicated for the Roaming Man unit. It did keep it's charge easily for two days but in instances where electricity may not be easily accessible to do a recharge, it's best to be prepared to remain connected. Upon my return of the unit, another email was sent confirming their receipt of the unit and thanking me for using their services and even sending me a message that they hoped my trip went well. I'm sooo glad I chose Roaming Man for this trip and I certainly know which company to use for any future trips!
