My wife and I successfully completed…
My wife and I successfully completed our cross country road trip vacation in the last six weeks from Fort Lauderdale, Florida to and from California and back. I recommend Interstate 40 and 80 as the most scenic way to capture interesting sites along the way. Watch out for those pesky construction cones as they can destroy your car front if you hit them.Favorite places: Morro Bay, Calif., Park City, Utah, Williams, Arizona, Vicksburg, Mississippi, and Durham, North Carolina.

Outdated
The interface is relatively easy to use, but your campground database is very out-of-date and your routing options are sketchy at best.

Road Trippers just ok
I want a road trip planner that allows me to widen how far I’m willing to look off of my destination for what I want to see on my way. I am giving it 3 stars as I like it better than nothing.
I also want to search for multiple things along my route, not just one at a time.
I can’t get my Road Trip map to feed into my iPhone. I build my trip in Road Trippers from their suggestions as well as things I find from other searches. I then feed the info into Maps.
I have the premium edition, I likely won’t renew it and see if I can find something else

I SIGNED UP FOR ROAD TRIPPERS $60 ANNUAL PLAN. DID NOT USE IT ONCE. GOT A NOTICE FROM MY AMERICAN EXPRESS CARD THAT I WAS BEING CHARGED FOR ANOTHER YEAR. CALLED THAT DAY TO CANCEL AND WAS TOLD THEY CANNOT REVERSE THE CHARGE. THIS IS AN INCREDIBLY SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICE. MY WIFE RECENTLY HAD A STROKE AND I DID NOT SEE AN EMAIL THEY SENT ME. I DID SEE THE AMEX NOTICE VIA TEXT. I WOULD NOT USE THESE GUYS...VERY SHADY PRACTICE.

The app is far too limited for Road…
The app is far too limited for Road trips. It doesn't do the MOST BASIC THINGS. It can't actually help me schedule days roughly constrained by the time needed to visit each location / site. I could put 50 things into one day if I wanted and the app wouldn't care. The map doesn't work the same on the iPhone vs Apple Play either --- you can't see the path and milestones all at once on the Apple Play map which is pointless. It only navigates to one place you have to manually select which is a waste of time --- most people already have a trusted phone or car app for navigation with traffic alerts. So why a navigation feature??? Lastly, the app is really stupid --- it doesn't know that I visited a place already so it doesn't bother ask information that could help others visiting that location in the future (e.g. how long did you spend here? what star rating would you give this place? did you bring a dog? how was parking? was it good for kids? were directions accurate?).

Great user interface
Great user interface. Unfortunately routing provided was unsatisfactory for a big rig. It took us through narrow country roads around Nashville and routed us off I75 and back on for illogical restrictions.

Easy access to directions is key!
I loved having all of the stops with addresses in my phone! I did not have to remember which hotel we were sleeping at since we had 14 different hotels on our list.
Having Roadtrippers conected to our car display was fantastic! We had the mileage and timeline at our fingertips!
We had a wonderful 18 day roadtrip!

Useful tool for planning but needs work
Useful tool for planning. I update as the trip is revised so the itinerary becomes a diary for future reference. Also great for identifying things to do.
Biggest negative for me is the itinerary in the mobile app starts at the beginning each time the app is opened. This was a 59 day trip with 150 waypoints so I got to scroll all the way through the itinerary a few 100 times. I suppose most users take shorter trips but in this case, everything the app did well was spoiled by this constant annoyance.

Not RV Friendly
I won't be renewing my subscription, as on my recent trip to Las Vegas the navigation that Roadtrippers suggested took me right down the Las Vegas strip. Any who owns a sizeable RV knows this is NOT the route to take in this area. With a little bit of research on Google maps, I easily found an alternative route that was much safer and
easier. It has come to my attention that Roadtrippers is merely for advertising businesses along a route. I purchased Roadtrippers because of my RV as it was advertised as a RV intelligent Ap. Not So.
I'll bet the won't print this.

Completely dissatisfied with this…
Completely dissatisfied with this company. The app does not properly function or let you manipulate key factors for a road trip. I reached out to their customer service and they refuse to refund my subscription for the year even though I have expressed that the app does not do what it should - make a roadtrip easier! Complete disaster and poor customer service, don't waste your money.

Horrible business model
We were 16 days late in cancelling our annual premium subscription plan and they wouldn’t refund us the $60 or even give us a prorated amount. Can’t believe they treat their customers like that. We will never use this app again.

Sunnyside is in the heart of wine county
Roadtrippers gave us the most direct route to where we needed to go, and reported time between stops. The Best Western Plus in Sunnyside Washington was clean with a great breakfast offering included in the stay.

Good Start but needs improvement
Like a lot of the content and functionality of Roadtrippers, but since I started using it for the Car Play turn by turn capability really disappointed you have to navigate to each waypoint individually rather than to just navigate an itinerary. This really needs to be improved or Car Play integration really is worthless.

Best road trip planner out here…
Hands down this is the absolute best and easiest road trip planner out here. I wasted a lot of money on other trip planning software until I found this one. Everyone I've shared this with are grateful. Ease of use, accuracy and it's ability to plan a huge amount of organized trips is perfect for mine, and others needs.

First trip
First trip. Although it doesn’t have the features of Google which they admit, I was looking forward to being routed on roads appropriate for my RV. 20 seconds out of the camp ground and Roadtrippers routed me on a narrow winding road to save a few seconds vs the State Route. I was so disappointed!

Impressed
The options to view different categories of stop points makes it a robust choice for travel. We're having fun building our two road trips!
