Richer Sounds - Chester Reviews 

I went to the Richer Sounds shop in Chester to explore whether it would be possible to link bluetooth headphones/earbuds to my ca 8 year old Panasonic TV. Jon checked my TV and explained that it would be possible with a MEE transmitter.
Consequently I ordered one and collected it the next day.
Jon explained how to connect it.
I went home, followed his instructions and, after a few tries with Bluetooth settings on my earbuds, I was able to connect them.

The discussion ranged through a number of similar products in a quite impartial way. All quotes emailed at the time for me to go away and research before placing an order. I phoned with a couple of further questions and was given the information I requested. A very efficient service.
Craig was very easy to discuss things with. The final price I was given was extremely competitive.

Staff friendly but it seems they've been told to try and get the customer to spend more money than they want too.

Sales staff where friendly informative and knowledgeable. The products where well displayed and easy to understand however the equipment package i purchasedwas lacking. It was a 7 point surround package but only came with 5 speakers and no speaker wire . As a bundle it should include the extra speakers and speaker wire it would make the product more desirable as it would be a one stop shop and I wouldn't have to wait to purchase the extra 2 speakers and purchase the wire separately. The price was fair the service great staff amazing and friendly and helpful.

Staff are always friendly and ask good questions to understand your needs what you are looking for and then offering products that meet your needs and budget. Everything I have bought I've been really happy with.

Had an issue with in-store refurb / clearance item that wasn't up to the usual / expected standards. Possibly this put the store staff in a predicament. Accessories missing etc, poor cosmetic order. After some back and forth , the issue was ameliorated by customer relations. I can't fault this response , despite previous inconveniences.

In essence, the company went out of the way to rectify issue.

Jon listened to what we were replacing and what we now needed. He pointed us in exactly the right direction for the shape of our room, its sound handling capability and the size of our tv and recommended the perfect soundbar and sub to fit our needs.

A great experience from start to finish . We rang the local store and they price matched a soundbar that we wanted and delivered it a few days later.

I've known of Richer Sounds for years but had never shopped there. I needed a new TV and thought I'd get a soundbar and sub too. I wanted a bit of advice so thought I'd pop in. I was really surprised how supportive they were. Some shops will push you to purchase more expensive products but they listened to what I wanted and the budget I had. Great advice and super helpful. Good advice (phone and in-store in Chester) on the choice of my first streamer and then to consider using the DAC on my Roksan K3 CD player (also from RS) which, on testing, gives a broader soundstage. The CA DAC is good but Roksan has the edge and all works well through the old but rock solid Nait 2 amp!

Staff were very informative and attentive. They kept us updated on delivery of goods.
Would recommend Richer Sounds and will certainly buy from them again.
