RHS Plants Reviews 

Plants in RHS sale were very poor. Leaves either yellowing or completely dry and scorched. The pots were soaking wet at the bottom, but obviously the plants had not benefited from this. Their roots were barely alive. A Brachyglottis, which was recommended as drought tolerant, was the worst (at least RHS refunded the price of this plant as well as £14 for the inconvenience). RHS Enterprises guarantees only to send top quality plants in excellent condition; these plants definitely were not. Top quality plants should not need urgent care on arrival. Drought is no excuse as plant nurseries are exempt from hosepipe bans.

After being let down by another well known supplier, the contrast with what we got from the RHS can't be exaggerated. The order was taken efficiently, delivery was quick and on time. The plant was in good condition and well packaged. It is now in our garden and despite the high temperatures, it's doing well.

On opening the parcel on delivery the plant pot was at 45 degree angle and had shed about a third of its compost. All in all the plant looked a very poor specimen. This illustrates the risks in buying plants on line.

Ordered 2 plant pots which were described as grey, they came and they are brown. Now it’s going to cost a fortune to send them back via Royal Mail (which is the only return method) so I will probably end up keeping pots that I won’t use. Won’t ever order from here again.

Ordered soil improver and the bags were delivered as quoted and on a pallet. Delivery driver very helpful.

I was delivered the wrong plant. I emailed, I then had a polite, timely response, and was immediately sent out the correct plant.

RHS replaced a damaged tree after several false starts.

Out of all shrubs the lupin has faded away . That was poor when got delivered . The others ok though

Its my second time ordering, but this time I was disappointed with the plants, specifically ordered 3 of one which was meant to be compact and a bushier habit to receive 3 leggy little plants, another plant I ordered arrived just leaves and a couple already yellow and crispy. Only ordered as was very impressed first time round, but doubtful if there will be a third time, especially as a bit pricey, though don't mind if the plants arriving are good quality and as described. Can't fault the delivery, plants arrive quickly and well packaged.
