Very disappointed

Very disappointed. Sizes fit small, a few of the items look like cheap temu clothing. Want to return the entire order and just be done with them. Not making it easy.

Unique Styles

Retro Stage has a lot of unique styles that I find really appealing. I'd love to see more of the popular styles made available to plus sized shoppers too, but the selection that is available is still stellar. I ordered a dress and two pairs of pants, all of which look great, although one pair of pants is too big. Customer service is very responsive and gave me multiple options to resolve the issue. Yomi was very helpful, and I appreciate her assistance. I've shopped here before, and I'm sure I will again.

Would not recommend even for a costume

Would not recommend even for a costume. The coat I purchased was not proportional in fit, material was cheap. Then they want to exchange rather than refund, why exchange for something with the possibility of more disappointment and such a long wait to receive the item. Definitely not recommended.

We ordered 2 items in the same size but one of the items did not fit my wife. Retro Stage was very helpful with switching the item out for one that will fit. The perfect gift!

I spotted the ideal Christmas outfit for my mother in law, as soon as I saw the gorgeous blue satin with fur trim online! I had to get it and let me tell you, my mother in law absolutely loved it! It was an echo to the 70s. She has some mobility problems and the jumpsuit was ideal for her and very stylish. I reached out to buy another one in a slightly larger size as was immensely aided by Yomi, one of their customer services agents, as I was reaching out to find the right size before reordering. Yomi was descriptive in the way the sizes were better explained in detail in addition to sharing the many other options I could choose from for my mother in laws, second outfit! I'm so excited to see the next one arrive as I know she will absolutely love it, just like she loved the first one!

Customer Service is on point!

The clothes are all great for the price (the styles are all one of a kind that you can’t find elsewhere). Customer Service was on point with quick replies and very friendly/helpful. I made an error with my purchase (completely on me as I somehow put the wrong size in my cart), and Yomi was super helpful with getting MY error resolved. Thanks Yomi!
Highly recommend (especially their swimwear which is surprisingly great quality for the price/styles!)

Love the look and quality.

Do Not Buy

On January 19th, I ordered three dresses.

1. The first dress is very cute! Came in about three weeks. I haven't worn it yet, so I cannot speak to fit.

2. The second dress over the weekend, and it's a mess: loose strings everywhere, the buttons are all loose and will need to be sewn on; it looks like a shabby costume. I will probably not be wearing it.

3. The third dress has yet to arrive, and it's been a month. I am skeptical about the quality of it based on what I'm seeing.

- Company communication is poor
- Shipping notifications are scant and not accurate.

I will not be ordering from this site again.

don’t be skeptical… just do it

Me like so many other people were very skeptical when ordering from retro stage when I tell you, it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made when it comes to purchasing swimming suits online. 1 they’ve been amazing from the start, especially Yomi. I ordered the swimming suits, which are a great quality. Let me add two weeks before my trip failing to see it can take up to 18 days total. I immediately reached out to them and seeing if there was a way I could pay for expedited shipping to which they happily just sent my item out quicker without hesitation. My item made it two days before I had to leave. Let’s talk about quality. The quality of the swimming suits is amazing and the customer service is even better. Yomi who was able to help me navigate an exchange effortlessly and she replies relatively fast, consider considering the time difference. I would 100% recommend. Ordering from retro stage. I even referred to people.!

Positive experiences

I’ve ordered at least 4 different times and have been very pleased with the products I’ve received, on the few occasions I’ve had issues (missing or damaged in shippping item) I’ve received prompt and kind responses from the customer care specialists. Yomi especially has been empathetic to my situation and found solutions that have saved the occasion (getting me a replacement dress in time for my work Christmas party for example). The clothes I’ve received get lots of compliments and I’m happy to refer friends to the site.

Yomi was very helpful.

I had ordered a bikini but when it arrived I it was the wrong size. I contacted them by email for a refund and they suggested about an exchange which I preferred as I was planning on ordering a different size. Great customer service
