Excellent Customer Service
About two weeks ago I needed to quickly update my resume and cover letter that I had created with ResumeNerd a few years ago. When I logged in I coulnd't find them. I called your customer service department and got the most wonderful employee (I wish I could remember his name). His customer service was impeccable!! Predatory Billing & Absurd Refund Math
I’m writing this as a warning: do not trust their "no recurring billing" marketing. It’s a total bait-and-switch designed to catch you off guard.
They lure you in with a 2-week trial for $2.95, explicitly suggesting it’s a one-time thing. It isn’t. Before I knew it, that "trial" morphed into a $23.95 monthly charge.
The "customer service" experience was the final insult. After sitting on hold for 20 minutes just to speak to a human, I was told that a refund—for a charge I caught within 48 hours—would take seven business days to process. To make matters worse, they flat-out refused to return the full amount. Despite charging me $23.95 on February 28th, they claimed they would only refund $11.95.
Apparently, their policy involves keeping half your money for a service you didn't want and tried to cancel immediately. Save your money and your sanity—go with a company that actually has transparent billing practices.
