Never got what I paid for

Didn't have the item. Never communicated for 3 weeks they didn't have it after an online purchase. Went to the store to chat friendly and ask why I hadn't received a call?
Staff called me out and said I should have talked with them before ordering a specialty item... just a UHF radio... actually talked with the staff a week in advance before ordering and they told me to order it online. Had to ask for a refund as no one was willing to process it. Took over a month to get my money back and by this stage lost the opportunity to purchase deals from Supercheap Auto for duck hunting season. Will never buy from Repco again... have called customer service twice with phone number and email and have never received a call back. Absolute waste of time and effort with REPCO!

Top service from Carnarvon Repco, 7/6 to 6/7/2023

I recently travelled through Carnarvon WA on a around Australia caravanning holiday and had the misfortune of several problems. I contacted Repco Carnarvon and spoke with a gentleman called Rod. Rod could not have been more helpful. He sourced all my required parts and went above and beyond to get us back on the road. He then passed us onto the Manager Alex when he was transferred and Alex continued to assist us in the same manner as we had received from Rod. 5 star service from Manager Alex and Rod Carnarvon Repco.

Never again

I purchased a car charging kit from their website 9 days ago. I had been unwell recently and suffering from insomnia. So I reasonably assumed that an expensive piece of electronic equipment would be taken to a pickup point like a Post Office if the premises were unattended. Hence I didn't think to check my (locked) courtyard in the last week. This morning I happened to look out through the bushes in my courtyard and was shocked to see that parcel had been tossed over my 6 1/2ft high (locked) courtyard gate onto my tiled courtyard floor and left there for several days unnoticed in the night cold and rain.

I called their contact centre this morning to complain and spoke to a rude and unprofessional male employee who was rushing me and kept talking over me. He then abruptly terminated the call after 6 minutes - a common trick used by Call Centre staff to artificially improve their stats. Before the call was terminated, I told the employee that the parcel had been abused, and given this was sensitive electronic equipment, under no circumstances was I going to accept it. I advised when I am well enough, I will be returning the purchase to the nearest Repco store with a copy of the receipt for replacement, and that I request the replacement product be delivered to that store for collection.

I also told the employee that this will be the LAST time I ever give Repco my business, and that I will be taking my business elsewhere in future. After the call was terminated, I called back to complain to a Manager and unfortunately got the same rude employee. He then volunteered my name before even asking for it which was another example of his unprofessionalism and rudeness. I asked to talk to a Manager and was told he was unsupervised!! No wonder their 'Call Centre' and business is such a shambles!! This ranks as one of the worst retail experiences i've had in the last 35 years of my adult life, and I will not be coming back. Disgrace!

Why would you do this to yourself

Repco supply a pretty much 100% imported product line - same as their competitors - the only ways to differentiate in that market are price and service. They manage to fail on both.
Their prices are almost always significantly higher than Supercheap or Autobarn; example - these guys gouged me $15 for 5L demineralised water (its at bunnings across the road for $4.99).
Their service is "generally" less friendly; though does vary from store to store obviously but the one near me is staffed by a miserable lot. Their sales are shorter - often over periods they aren't even open. And their range is typically not as good; but this is also subjective.
Hate shopping there; always a last resort.

Extreme Price Gouging

I ordered an oil filter for my car and was told it would take a couple of days to arrive. Went to pick it up and was told it was $63. I said that sounded expensive and was told that included $5 freight. Got home and checked the price at Supercheap and the identical Ryco filter was $21. Phoned Repco back who apologised and said the pricing was fixed by Repco not the store but they would price match if I take it back. My issue is why was I being ripped off in the first place? Plus the hassle of going back into town to get a refund. Very poor of Repco.

Click and Collect NOTHING a waste of time

I ordered an oilcan online, click and collect. They told me 3-5 days and I would be notified. The only word from them was a request for a review. I had not got the item. Day 5 and I enquired and was told due to a technicality my item had not been ordered then they cancelled the sale, without even asking me if I still wanted the product. They were still selling it on their website. Then another request for a review. I gave them one, and it did not meet their standards ( I presume they only want to publish GOOD reviews) so they would not accept it. I also thought that their request for Driver's License, credit card as well as emails when picking up the item was over the top, this was only told to me after I purchased.

Don’t buy online!!

In 1-3 days it was written that the purchased items would be delivered. Cleaning spray and CD radio. The spray was delivered, the CD radio was not.
it has been delivered two weeks already, and under my profile it says that I have one order that has been delivered. I paid $160 for the CD radio and it has not been delivered. Communication with Repco is impossible. Ugh, ugh, ugh.......

Went to Repco to get Brakepads for my…

Went to Repco to get Brakepads for my Ford 96 ute was sold incorrect pads. Went home discovered this after disassembling front brakes it was the wrong pads. I took them straight back to repco and asked to swap for the correct one. I purchased on my card. I was refused with exchanging for the correct brake pad. I was accused of stealing them. They refused a refund and refused to even sell me a whole other set of brake pads and was kicked out of the store. My partner then called repco and i tried to purchase the correct brakepads and was told to take the brake pads off the car and bring them in. How do you drive with no brakes on your car? And when my partner question staff over it she was also refused service also. I then a few days later contact people from repco higher up in the chain to report the issues i was having. After telling them on numberous occassions now they keep saying they will call me back with a resolution. Its been weeks now. No one calls back. I keep calling them and being told the same thing. No one calls back. I am now stuck with a set of $100 and something dollar general ct disc brakes that they sold me and said would fit my car and don't. I have wasted my money and cannot return. Worst of all, you look it up online and the extact same disk brakes are half the price. I had to purchase them from auto barn. Repco coffs harbour. Bad service, extrememly unproffesional, unrelyable, verbally abusive to customers, extremely bad management. Don't shop there! I have been with repco for 30years. After this no more!

Terrible Service

1. Sign up for Ignition Membership and get no membership number.
2. You don't get half price delivery if you get a product discount using RAA, RACQ, etc membership number. But they don't tell you this.
3. Fail to advise when a product ordered online is not in-stock and can't be delivered same day.
4. They don't reply to email queries.
5. Worst major on-line merchant I've dealt with.

Order a waterblaster on 23 Dec pick up from mt roskill in 3-4 days… received no text or emal…rang them 26 Dec saying they haven’t received the package….and rudely told me you have to wait for the email….waited til the 3rd Jan and rang them again….was talking to them like they have forgotten my order….he told me after he brought my detailed saying he’s waiting for a shipment to come in and doesn’t know when it gonna to arrived….I was friken pissed off….so I waited until I received a Voice mail that my order been canceled cos they don’t stock them anymore….that was the last straw….. I will never shopped there anymore….and they don’t deserve a star…taken my business elsewhere

I ordered 2 sets of shelving two weeks…

I ordered 2 sets of shelving two weeks ago when they were on special at $59.00 each, I gave my name, address & mob number and was told I will be notified when they arrive. 2weeks on no call so I rang the store to inquire only to be told that.
1. The price has gone back up now I have to price the original price $100+ ?????
2. No phone call because the person who served me no longer work there?????
3. The same person didn’t let anyone know (that’s all crap the manager for the weekend was there she spoke to him) ????
4. When I rang the store the first time, I was hung up on.
Now I am asking, am I well within my rights to complain about this treatment.
The store is Repco Main Road Huntly.
I won’t be going back there again I will spread the word.

Repco your click & collect is a joke

Because of Melbourne Covid lockdown tried to use click and collect. Looked up the item I needed for my car on internet, then clicked the link to Repco. Logged in to site via my car registration, was then informed that part did not suit my car, then directed to every other item I did not want. Finally rang on phone, was informed they only have 4 items connected to the system for my car, a VW golf. Anything else says "not suitable for your car". Person I spoke to on the phone wanted me to go across the road to the BP service station to check the part (in a pandemic) Repco is a joke 1950's style no service. Went to Supercheap, got the right part straight away.

Listing out-of-stock and product prices hike

I say a de-icer on Repco website, drove to Repco New lynn and was informed item is not available instore and I ordered online. After few days of ordering the order was closed and my money was returned. Then I went back online and saw the same de-icer but now, Repco has increased the price of the product from $11 to $16. How horrible is that practice? to learn that a number of products listed on the Repco site are actually out of stock (with no out of stock information on the site) OR that Rapco receives and refunds online orders and just to relist and hike the productprices? that's disgusting

did not even ship the item and refuse to refund

A scammer used our card to shop online REPCO on 30/06/21. Westpac warned us about the suspected transaction so we rang REPCO to cancel the order on 30/06 and reported to the police at Rowville VIC. The police was very helpful and checked with REPCO immediately, and hence the order cancelled.

Westpac informed us that all we need to do is inform REPCO to make the refund. However, the Account Receivable manager W.G. informed that they can not refund because the card has been reported as fraud. Westpac confirmed to us at least 5 times on phones and face to face that that it does not matter that the card has been cancelled, the card will still be re-directed into my bank account as the card and the account are linked. It’s been 6 weeks despite we repeatedly and patiently informed the AR manager W.G. that Westpac advised the merchant needs to refund first before the bank could process further. It is totally unbelievable how a company like REPCO that has been in the motor vehicles industry since the 1920s the AR would choose to hold a victim’s money and refuse to refund for only $335.

We bought various items at REPCO shops every now
and then, we very much regret that REPCO would rather keep our money for just $335 than care about their reputation. If you do not even ship any item, how can you expect NO refund and try to justify your action?! This is apparently an act of embezzlement, unlawfully and deliberately keep a victim’s money.
