Premier Plus policy does not cover subsidence?
Although the marketing states that the premium plus policy covers subsidence, the policy wording includes the following exclusion:
We do not cover loss, destruction or damage to the building(s) or structure caused by its own
collapse or cracking other than for damage caused by a defined peril which is covered by this
section.
Where the defined perils are: fire, lightning, explosion, aircraft or other aerial devices or articles dropped from them, riot, civil commotion, strikers, locked-out workers, persons taking part in labour disturbances, malicious persons, theft, earthquake, storm, flood, escape of water from any tank, apparatus or pipe, leakage of oil from any fixed heating installation or impact by any road vehicle or animal.
I raised this with Renovation Plus on 7 Jun 2024 and have yet to receive a response.
