Absolutely awful company, DO NOT TRUST, they claim to make custom remaps but Infact use generic maps that WILL mess your car up, I’d booked in for a map and dyno runs, arrived on the day at the time I was asked to be there, ended up waiting over an hour just for the owner to arrive to then be told he had no idea I was coming, he checked his book and realised I was booked in but told me he couldnt do the dyno runs because he was way to busy and told me I’d have to come back to get them done, he then proceeds to plug his laptop in and within 5 minutes he’s told me the map is done and that im free to go, the car was nothing but problems after this, it would randomly misfire or just cut out completely as you were driving, rang him and asked if it could be the map to be told there was no chance his map was causing it, 3 weeks after the map I was driving through town when the car started misfiring worse than it ever had before cutting out completely and not restarting, upon further investigation it had melted a piston and destroyed the engine, again rang to ask about the map to be told I was stupid to think it was his map that caused it, so I sucked it up and replaced the engine, on the same day I finished fitting the new engine I took the car for a nice long test drive, about an hour in and everything was actually how it should before suddenly my misfire came back, as I pulled off the road into a car park the misfire got worse before the engine died, fast forward a couple days and I’ve taken the second engine apart to find its done exactly the same as the first (both times driving less than 30mph in a built up area) ring regal again, this time telling him his map was terrible and that he’d now blown up 2 engines within a week, I got laughed at and hung up on at this point for him to not answer the phone again after this, found a mobile tuner that could come out to me after now fitting the third engine, he plugged in and said the map regal had put on was capped and was not viewable by his system, he then put his own map on and told me to check how it felt, car felt more responsive and snappy than with regale tube and didn’t once misfire, I ran that map for nearly a year before selling the car on to another guy, regal GRENADED 2 engines in a week and basically laughed it off, DO NOT TRUST THESE CON ARTISTS they use generic maps and could care less about customer service, they need dhutting down before more engines get blown

Been with Regal for nearly 4 years. They have consistently provided excellent service and support when needed.

Nothing is a bother for them.

I’ve had lots of issues with the files provided from this company and their customer service. I mainly dealt with Lewis who has been little to no help in getting issues resolved. My car has been remapped with their files seven times now and still has issues, I have even been down to their unit in York and whilst there, I was speaking to other customers that had issues with their remaps. They are poor at communicating with me, not responding and lying in some of their messages about things which were completely untrue. I have spoken to two of their dealers and they have said that their files are great for a standard car but when it comes to the custom side of things there’s always issues. Their website is full of spelling mistakes and they just simply aren’t what they make them selves out to be. I’m now stuck with a car in DPF regeneration and having to go to a more reputable company to get this sorted. I believe they are re-using other people files and that the files they are providing are not custom or tailored to your car. They have suggested I pay them again to remap the car on the dyno or have the DPF refitted to remove the issue. The car was throwing P codes for DPF incomplete or missing but if the DPF was mapped out this should not have been the case. All in all stay away from them, or their dealers. Go to a more reputable company. Just check out what poor reviews they have across other platforms.

I went to Regal Tuning in York for my car to be live remapped on the rolling road. My car had the hardware for a stage 2 tune so on the rolling road it went. result was 120 hp more and massive torque increase throughout the rev range. I found Lewis and Mike very friendly knowledgeable and helpful ! I shall return !

Regal tuning south wales what a load of s**t the guy is a thief says he will map your car to a good standard even shows you the figures but just sits in the car pretending to do it but doesnt make a differance or do the map checked mine on a dyno later that day and nothing changed avoid at all costs total joke of a guy will block you once you question him as well also regal tuning deny any responsability for what the guy has done 🤬🤬🤬

Absolutely rubbish from regal, have been a dealer for these for a year, they send out generic maps to there dealers, they offer a service they can’t actually deliver. They claim to send custom files, but they done.

They buy one file, and sell it a 1000 times.

We contacted Lewis at regal, about an issue with a file, and his answer was it’s not the file, it’s the car because we have sold this file over 100 times to our dealers.

Where is the custom file part of the service!

Defective Dimsport Trasdata Slave - Bought from Regal using Paypal/Ebay. Days passed before anyone answered if the tool was being posted. When it finally arrived I spent a few days trying to make it work but it wont. After wasting time I asked Ebay to step in for a return. Notably, it arrived in a slightly damaged case, which i wasn't bothered about as the tool rarely will reside in it. So, I returned it. Regal once they recieved filed a false complaint that the item arrived damaged (well, it arrived damaged at my end in the first place) and held back a refund. Absolute lowlife!

Sadly, my time and money were wasted with this company.

Regal Tuning York, shipped me a powergate 3 to remap my 530d GT. The unit did not work with my car, and I have returned it. I have called the afterwards 5 times and wrote 10 mails, and each time they say call please back, or say “oh yeah no problem we will refund”. Two months have passed, now they refuse to take their phone or answer email. It is safe to assume that Regal Tuning has stolen 225 pounds from me.
