Is ReferralMagic a referral marketing scam?

Bought the software last year as lifetime deal.

I paid $399 to get nothing out it.

Customer support is non existent.

I had problems installing the script, i wrote a couple email to the CEO Cem Hurturk asking to be helped and offered to pay somebody from the company to actually install the script on my site.

Nobody ever replied.

I then hired two different guys on UpWork to complete the installation but none of them was able to complete the installation as per developer instruction.

Wasted money and wasted time because nobody ever answered my support tickets.

I then tried to make use of their API with Zapier but then again you can't credit conversion if you don't know the referrer code.

The export option doesn't work.

Emails templates dont' know what are there for since no email is ever sent.

Can't really decide if they are a bunch of a2sholes that simply don't care about their customers and start projects one after another or if they are deliberate scammers.
