Red Roof Kissimmee STAY AWAY!

I recently under went spinal surgery and due to the weather conditions in Boston I booked at the Red Roof Kissimmee..WHAT A BIG MISTAKE!!, this hotel.. is a flop house for long term tenants with dogs, cats and is nothing but a high traffic hotel for people coming and going all hours of the night. If you love headlights lighting up your room, the sounds of dogs barking, ice machines getting party traffic all night, and sleep sounds of people locking and unlocking car doors all night, this might be the place for you to book your stay. Upon check in I was assigned to room 117, directly next to the ice machine..after 9 days of no HOT WATER I was informed that after "recent  upgrades"..the shower valve was installed upside down!! Lmfao. Now with the understanding I am permanently disabled, I was not given a handicap room until 9 days into my stay. In addition the the room change was a big inconvenience due to the face I could not lift anything. I did settle into a the new room, but knowing I had no car and could not drive I had to use Lyft for the 32 days I was there. The new room 103, was updated.. but definitely not ADA or handicap compliant (no grab bars near the toilet, door lock and peep hole were at normal hight and let's not forget the set of stairs you have to climb to get to the pool!!. Last but not least the washing machine was covered in a grease that ruined 3 shirts and 2 pairs of pants from construction workers washing there clothes. The resort refused to address this issue only saying the machines were not owned or operated by the Red Roof. ( NO signs to indicate you are using at your own risk) in short due to the constant disregard for customer service and the lack of response, I have put the Red Roof on notice that I am proceeding with a small claims court action.. save your the headache stay somewhere

They say they're pet friendly they're not we checked in they told us we have thirty minutes to leave there are other dogs here but nothing is said to them no refund

They are a bunch of liars pet friendly my ass there liars one day it's fine to have a dog the next day you got to go even though the man next to us have a big dog he can stay drug dealers everywhere you. Can't go outside without seeing drug deals everyday in this motel homeless everywhere coming up to you everyday wanting money this is one of the biggest trap hotels in augusta don't recommend it anyone

Feel unsafe

For one the tv don’t work dent in the door the bathroom is to small the phone don’t work The beds are itchy. The beds are dirty the ice bucket is very dirty there’s black stuff on the beds the toilet was dirty. Had a little blood on it!! Don’t feel safe.!!!!! Don’t come here!!!! And my son eyes are red and puffy.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! phone is broke detached like the phone is broken!!!
Pee stain on bed sheets rat shit!!!
Can’t go to sleep without itching and people moaning and nasty shit !!!

Do NOT trust Trivago or Red roof inn

We will be reporting this hotel to the BBB. We had to cancel our reservation within PLENTY OF TIME, we had until the 27th, we canceled today on the 21st. They gladly took our cancelation, but since we bought through Trivago, a third party vendor, we are getting screwed out of our refund, when the room will be rented out no problem. It’s a $350 charge. Red roof inn just tells us there is zero they can do about the situation. We will be making sure that their businesses has issues for not standing up to these 3rd party vendors & making problems for us. RUN FROM THIS HOTEL. AND RUN FROM TRIVAGO!!! Also please notice that Red Roof Inn Does not leave u the opportunity to leave a review about your experience there & will not even claim their business on this site. Red flags everywhere folks!

The hotel room was dirty

The hotel room Red Roof Plus Miami was dirty, the carpet damp and mouldy. There was no shuttle; the dispenser in the bathroom was broken and I was told they would fix it after our stay wwas over.

The best thingabout this hotel was the location; we stayed here a year ago and it was not decent but alot has changed in a year.

Red roof in Augusta ga Washington rd

Red roof in Augusta ga. Room had roaches crawling in shower took a video showed rhe rude night manager and she refuse to return my money for that day being I had to go get another room from a different hotel. Argued with me and stated hotel just got sprayed but I can get a different room. Stating they can’t resell room that day do to me getting of work and finding the roach in my shower. Not only that I had to return to get my cash deposit cause the manager quote on quote forgot to give it to me.

The condition of the room was atrocious

The condition of the room was completely unacceptable and uninhabitable. Within minutes of sitting on the bed, we began seeing roaches and noticed significant filth throughout the room. As a precaution, we pulled back the covers to check for bedbugs after seeing the roaches, and we immediately found hairs on the sheets along with visible dirt and debris in the bed. The bedding was clearly not clean.

The bathroom door had visible holes in it, the outlet fixtures were coming out of the walls, and there was mold above the doorway entering the room. The overall condition of the property looked nothing like what is advertised online. The photos are misleading, and the hotel felt unsafe and unsanitary.

Management is now claiming the bed was “used” and is using that as the reason to refuse a refund. The only reason the bedding was disturbed at all was because we pulled the covers back to inspect for bedbugs after seeing roaches. We did not sleep in the bed, we did not stay in the room, and we checked out within an hour of arrival specifically because the room was unfit for occupancy.

Despite the clear condition of the room and the fact that we left immediately, management has refused to refund the first night. It is unacceptable to expect guests to pay for a room that is roach-infested, dirty, and clearly uninhabitable.

Because of the refusal to resolve this appropriately, we will be sharing our honest experience and advising friends and family not to stay at this location. This situation could have been resolved easily with basic accountability and customer service.

We are extremely disappointed in how this was handled.

Unethical Johnson City NY Red Roof Inn

We reserved 3 nights November 18-20 at the Red Roof Inn in Johnson City NY. We were there to visit our terminally ill sister. We arrived after 9pm after driving 12 hours. The parking lot had numerous men loitering and sitting in cars late at night. We were so concerned for our safety that we put a chair against the hotel room door and hardly slept. We checked out the next morning and wanted our credit card charged back for the two nights we were not going to use. We were told Booking.com had our money, this was not true, Red Roof Inn not only kept our money but they told Booking it was only our perception of the environment. We had to find another hotel and have since found out this Red Roof was used for the unhoused but did not tell us, they lied to us and kept our funds from two unused nights. There is no excuse for them to take advantage of Senior Citizens, this is neither ethical nor defensible. I want to be reimbursed for the two nights we did not stay at this hotel.

Not a healthy place to stay

I stayed in Red Roof 966 South Outer Drive in Saginaw MI. Deplorable! lock broken/laying in window, bathroom mold/mildew, stained bedspreads, filthy walls/ceilings, no soap, no washcloths, hole in wall, bathroom doorknob falling off. Disgusting. Had it not been bad weather/holiday, I would have demanded my money back & stayed elsewhere. Calling health dept. in MI.

I am submitting a formal complaint…

I am submitting a formal complaint regarding a suspected bed bug infestation at Red Roof Inn Dunbar, located at 317 11th Street, Dunbar, WV 25064.
I stayed at this property on December 20, 2025. Upon discovering evidence consistent with bed bugs, I contacted the hotel to report the issue. I made multiple attempts to notify the front desk throughout the day.
The front desk staff repeatedly hung up on me, refused to allow me to explain the issue, and stated that my attempts to report the infestation constituted “harassment.” The hotel refused to document or address the complaint.
I subsequently contacted Red Roof corporate, which acknowledged receipt of my concern (Record ID 636854) but advised that the property is independently operated and declined further involvement.
I requesting that the Kanawha–Charleston Health Department investigate this property for possible pest infestation and sanitation violations, and document this complaint for public health and guest safety.
I am able to provide documentation, including call logs and written correspondence, upon request.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

DO NOT STAY
What a major hole. So many health/safety violations AND CRIME, drug use, will be calling the health dept.
Stayed 1 night, bugs crawling everywhere, fruit flies, sink unusable, smelled, mold everywhere.
We left the room after paying, should have looked at room first.
I went to office and manager stated when I left he was going to credit my account-he never did, no worries-I will dispute the cc charge!!

Please accept our sincere apology about the situation that you had at the property about the issues of bugs crawling, fruit flies, sink that is unusable and the molds. I contacted the property, discussed this concern and coordinated the resolution that you wants which is a refund, I spoke to Marian the Manager and she confirmed they will not provide any refund. They come up to that resolution due to the reason that the new Management took over the responsibilities December 02, 2025 and your reservation was dated way back November of 2025. Marian has no record of the agreement between you and the Manager during your checked in. They took over the Hotel last Monday and they have no records of the previous management before they Manage the property.

Thank you again for bringing this to our attention. Red Roof takes pride in providing superior service, and we are disappointed to learn that we have fallen short of our goals in this instance. Feedback like yours helps us take steps to prevent similar problems in the future. We hope you will give us the opportunity to better serve you at Red Roof the next time your travel plans require lodging.

MY RESPONSE because no credit was offered:
Reported to health department, filed a BBB complaint, contacted local law enforcement as the building is unsafe (from door locks to electrical outlets) and drug use was present, looks like sex trafficking too. What a disgrace. I will also contact a hotel agency also.

FOLLOW UP:
Called Marian @ local hotel (they first tried to lie (Shawn-a worker) and say that she wasn't the manager and disconnected me) ---she wouldn't help me, then she threatened me because I said I was going to file reports on state of the building. Thanks ok. I'll just keep filing reports. THIS HOTEL SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS AND NEEDS TO BE CLOSED DOWN. It is a drug infested, bug infested, unsafe (crime everywhere) establishment.

ALSO: Put "Red Roof Rochester Michigan Police" in your search engine, and see the people whom have died there, and were robbed at gunpoint on the property!

The Most Disgusting Hotel

The first room was so gross I didn't even put my bags down. The second wasn't any better. Toilets had not been cleaned, with feces in bowl, on seat and urine on every square inch. Floors were dirty and left my feet black. Terry and linen had been used. No comforter on beds. Microwave and fridge crusted in debris. Chairs covered in dog hair and dirt. Just gross.

Stay far away! Brunswick GA Red Roof Inn

The only thing good about this hotel is it’s close to I95. We checked in after breaking down and being stuck in Brunswick GA because no rental cars were available for two days. We were tired and had a stressed day. When we got to the room it smelled bad, but too tired to request a change at the time. We thought circulating the air conditioning would solve the issue. It made it worse and the smell what I believe to be Urine. The room was also in need of repair. The next day the smell got to me and I requested a room change. We were shown one room that smelled as well and the front desk person said it was their cleaning chemicals. He also said no other rooms were available and we could just check out if we’d like. This is a big hotel with ten cars in the parking lot. After arguments and having the threat of cops being called, I called customer relations and somehow they found a room for us. I was pressured to call back and tell customer relations to retract the complaint telling them it was a misunderstanding to get the new room. I was so stressed I complied. During the entire process we asked for a manager and they were never on site. Upon checkout we wanted a refund of the first night and of course, no manager on site to give one. Every call I’ve made the manager isn’t there and I never got a call back.

I have since called customer relations again and they told me since I made the call to retract the complaint I have to deal with property management directly for resolution. As stated above it’s an impossible task to get in touch with them.

I would urge you to look at all negative reviews as it’s the same complaints over and over again and management responds saying the typical response. It’s been forever. If they wanted to please past, current, or future guests the issues would have been dealt with by now.

I wouldn’t stay here if I won a free vacation and was required to use this hotel as part of the vacation!!!! Pay a little more and go somewhere else.

Awful

I got a room 10/19/2025 at the Red Roof Inn in Brandon Fl 33619 and the room was dirty had to clean the floor myself and no toilet paper they were actually out. There were drywall pieces all around the room crazy. The people that live there was at least 3/4 of the whole hotel. Around 11pm the Nosie and cars riding thru the parking lot was redilious. I couldn't even turn the tv up loud enough to drown it down. Around 230am is when it started to calm down and I could rest. The positive was customer service was great even checked in at 11am same time I purchased the room and the room I requested wasn't avible and clerk gave me upgrade for same price, Their pool was open and clean. Theres a Bob Evans right next door. But the Noise level and the restless I experience was unacceptable and that will cause me to never use their Hotel again out of stars 1-5 they got a 2 only because customer service, pool, and Bob Evans resturant.
