loved the wedding fayre!

my fiancé and i visited the event at the gardens today and we really enjoyed it! the atmosphere was lovely and there were lots of little free goodies to try. the singing was great too and all of the staff and exhibitors were friendly and welcoming. we have lots of ideas now and can’t wait to start booking

We attended the Trentham Gardens…

We attended the Trentham Gardens Wedding Fair on Saturday and had a wonderful experience. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and incredibly helpful throughout the day, while all of the exhibitors took the time to chat with us and offer valuable inspiration. Their enthusiasm made us feel special and helped make the day truly memorable. We left feeling excited and inspired for our wedding journey. Thank you to everyone involved for such a fantastic event!

Son had booked a ticket for three of us…

Son had booked a ticket for three of us for Trentham Gardens event. Partner booked for her mum and sister. Refused entry as we were classed as a large group. Two travelled for 1 3/4 hours to get to venue, two for 1 hour. Woman on the gate rude and patronising to say the least.. Adamant we could not go in even though two groups of three. Appalling.

I didn't book the tickets. My son did so his parents could go. He had nothing to do with the other party booking hers. She booked so her parents could go. Heaven forbid a couple still has both sets of parents around to enjoy their planning with them. I feel sorry for those exhibiting their businesses as they have lost business. And no, the "rules" were not applied consistently. Other people saw what happened and were disgusted too. Several split themselves up.

The admission policy for this event, (which was set by Trentham Gardens and advertised on the booking page) allowed free entry for a wedding couple plus up to two additional guests (a maximum of four people per booking).

Where parties exceeded this allowance, additional guests were required to purchase a standard Trentham Gardens admission ticket. This policy was applied consistently to all attendees.
