Great people, good communications, very easy

I recently hired a camera and the whole process was simple, from ordering to return.
The device was delivered to my door on time as promised, was in superb condition and fully charged.
Andy was really helpful and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Fantastic End-to-End service

Red were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. My wife phoned and spoke to someone very knowledgeable about their cameras and what our options were. Then we got an email with clear details and no pressure to sign up or order. When we were ready, they provided clear communication, both when selecting and then doing the entire process of hiring a camera.

The camera itself was great, came with everything we needed to get started, including manuals, spare batteries, charger, and well packaged in a hard case. The entire process, including shipping it back was well automated and so simple.

Staff were also helpful and friendly throughout and just clearly wanting to help.

Through Red Current I was able to hire an expensive FLIR EX54 thermal Imaging camera for a few days needed for not a lot of money.
I’m very happy with the service and signposted guidance available, it made it very easy from camera selection, camera settings and use, data downloading and even writing reports in FLIR software (included) all way through to the easy camera return process.
The images produced by the camera have given me a better insight on where the hidden heating pipes are and how the house could be thermally improved to make it more efficient.
As a bonus all the staff I contacted on the phone and email were helpful too.

I would echo the reviews below and say Andy did a great job of recommending a camera and talking me through the sofware afterwards. The actual delivery and return process was also very smooth, and the camera itself was easy to use.

We hired a camera to survey our house - the process was smooth and the equipment easy to use. Money well spent.

A great company, a quick and efficient process and very reasonably priced.

The process to order, receive and return the camera was very simple. I used it to identify cold spots inside the house and warm spots outside as we'll be getting an air sourced heat pump installed soon. The images confirmed issues I was aware of, but many more than I wasn't aware of. The cost for 24 hour hire (£190) needs to be compared to the cost of getting somebody in to conduct a survey (several £100s) or buying a camera (£5k plus). Finally, customer service was excellent, with all of my questions answered quickly and in a professional manner.

Required a device to assist a customer with a potential leak. Service was speedy, clear and transparent. Highly recommended for trade or consumer hire
