Misleading, Appalling Customer Service, DO NOT USE
This company does not care about customers. They are misleading, non responsive and I would never recommend them to anybody.
I bought the Smart Chiller + Ice Bath…
I bought the Smart Chiller + Ice Bath Max Combo. The price for this was amazing. I soon discovered why. The Ice Bath itself (this is their mid-range unit) was cheap and flimsy. The chiller simply never functioned. It threw errors out of the box and seemed to be rusted inside, which is crazy for a NEW unit that is supposed to pump water. The company makes support and returns very difficult, claiming restocking or cancellation fees are payable. Overall, a terrible experience. I still have not resolved this weeks after delivery, and I've NEVER been able to use the product. BEWARE
Fantastic
Ordered the sauna + ice bath combo during the Black Friday sales. Order turned up pretty quickly (considering I live in a regional area), and has been great ever since. Ice bath doesn’t leak, keeps water cold for quite a while, and the sauna is fantastic. Would absolutely recommend buying these products.
Bad customer service
They mistakenly gave me a wrong order. Did not send any confirmation email and they said they mistakenly put my email wrong too.. did not want to give any refund and customer service is not great at all.
Stay away!!!
Sauna Max is a winner
I bought the Sauna Max during winter 2025 and it has been nothing but awesome. Gets up to temp in around 10 minutes, and I generally spend 20 to 30 minutes sweating it out. I used it basically every day for the whole of winter. Easy set up, easy to clean, easy to store during summer when not in use. I cleaned the kettle thoroughly every month or so as it gets calcification, and I wash the mat after every use. For the money, this has been an excellent buy and more than got my $ return.
I actually purchased the package for black friday.
I actually purchased the ice cold plunge and the sauna max around 1 week ago and have used the sauna every morning and night and the plunge every night. Im absolutely buzzing about it and I think its an amazing product.
I have had no issues at all
I guess il have to wait and find out considering all the negative views on the products which I cant seem to see right now. I emailed regarding information on how to keep clean and they responded via email within 24 hours.
Its above my expectations at the minute as my sleep has improved in the last few days too.
Im from Hornsby, Nsw
Buyer Beware - the 100 day guarantee is misleading and false
I wanted to share my experience so others can make an informed decision before purchasing from Recovry Zone.
I purchased one of their ice bath and chiller units because their website heavily promoted a “100-Day Money-Back Guarantee – try, test and love it or your money back.”
That sounded reassuring, and I genuinely believed it was a risk-free trial.
When I decided the product wasn’t right for me (within the 100 days), I followed every instruction carefully — cleaned it, packed it safely in the original box, and paid the return shipping myself.
Initially, Recovry Zone confirmed my return and said a full refund would be issued once inspected.
However, after I sent it back, they changed their stance — claiming the product had “scratches” and was “not in original condition.” The marks they referred to were minor surface blemishes consistent with light, normal use during the 100-day “trial.” They then refused the refund completely and tried to charge additional “cleaning and packaging fees.”
After escalating to Consumer Protection WA, the company doubled down on these claims. I’ve since learned that others have had similar issues, where the “money-back guarantee” came with undisclosed conditions that weren’t stated anywhere before purchase.
In my opinion, the 100-day guarantee is misleading. You can’t advertise a risk-free trial and then penalise customers for normal signs of use. Under Australian Consumer Law, refund guarantees must be clear and cannot have hidden restrictions that are only revealed later.
I’ve escalated my complaint formally through Consumer Protection WA and, if necessary, will proceed to WA Magistrates Court. I’m sharing this so others understand what to expect before buying.
If you’re considering ordering from Recovry Zone, I strongly recommend reading the fine print, taking photos of your product before return, and saving all emails — just in case you face the same experience.
My ice bath chiller stopped working…
My ice bath chiller stopped working after the first clean out. Non stop back and forth emails with the company, often waiting 4 days for even a reply. Over 2 weeks later and still no resolution. They keep asking for different videos of the machine like proof the filter is clean .. where obviously its not the problem.
Bought a Sauna Elite
Bought a Sauna Elite. The steamer didn’t come with a hose. I emailed them. They wanted lots and lots of photos of not only the steamer and its packaging but also of the Sauna, even though the sauna came in a completely different box. The customer support team don’t understand the items they’re shipping. Very dodgy. Nothing but a hassle

Purchased a Sauna and rust started to appear in the steamer after 3 months. No response to emails or phone calls for warranty claim.
Absolutely garbage
Absolutely garbage, don’t waste your time or money this is all Temu quality items. The unit died after 3 uses and the company was contacted for a replacement. They requested a video of the unit showing it failing to function which i supplied. They did not reply to this at all and when I contact their support team they just keep sending the same email I’m assuming it’s a bot and this company is ran by most probably 1 person with heaps of AI fake reviews to boost it up. Save your money and shop elsewhere.

I have paid for product and had no response and has not been delivered. No replies from company either. Regret this purchase and will be seeking a refund
Never again
Recovery Zone’s first response to my faulty Ice Barrel was to ask if I had used the included glue repair kit — despite it being brand new and not holding air. I also returned the brand new chiller and was unfairly charged $190 for allegedly damaged hoses. Poor handling and disappointing service. Luckily my bank stepped in when I questioned their practices under Australian Consumer Law. I have lodged a complain with Fair Trading as well. For some reason I am unable to leave a review on their website which says a lot about the actual reviews on their website.
Dont purchase form this company.
Dont purchase form this company.
I paid for my sauna on the 15th of last month.
The tracking says that it was being Measures and packed on the 25th and nothing has happend since then.
No way of ringing anybody to discuss and after reading all the other reviews I wish I had never purchased of this company.
Dont make my mistake
Faulty Unit, Delayed Support, and Now More Defects
I don’t usually leave reviews, but after this experience, I feel obligated to warn others.
I purchased the Recovery Zone Ultra Tub and Smart Chiller with high expectations. What I received instead was a non-functional system, two separate product failures, and an exhausting, weeks-long support saga that still hasn’t been resolved.
Issue 1 – Faulty Chiller:
The first Smart Chiller arrived and failed immediately — throwing E2 pump errors on day one. I followed every single troubleshooting step they sent: disconnected hoses, filmed the control screen, opened the unit, even drained water into buckets on camera. I sent multiple videos to meet very specific requests. Despite doing far more than any reasonable customer should be expected to, it took weeks before they finally admitted the fault (a bad flow switch) and agreed to send a replacement. That alone was a nightmare of delays, missed deadlines, and stalling.
Issue 2 – Faulty Tub:
The replacement chiller finally arrived, but within 24 hours, the tub itself failed. During the very first water drain, the brass outlet fitting popped completely out of the rubber port. It’s not a screw thread — just press-fit into the rubber — and it can’t be reinserted. The tub is now completely unusable. I also noticed there was a small leak from that same port from day one, which I had initially dismissed. Turns out the fitting was never secure to begin with.
I reported this second fault to support immediately and sent photos — it’s now been more than 3 days with no resolution. Just vague promises that it’s “being looked into.”
To make things worse, I left an honest review on their website via their automated Judge.me request — and it seems to have quietly disappeared. That tells you everything you need to know about their transparency.
---
Final verdict:
I've now received two faulty units. I’ve spent over a month troubleshooting and chasing responses, and I still don’t have a working system. For a premium-priced product, this is utterly unacceptable. Recovery Zone has wasted my time, tested my patience, and failed at basic product quality control.
Unless you're willing to gamble with your time, money, and sanity, I strongly recommend you look elsewhere.
Delivered the wrong Sauna
Delivered the wrong Sauna. Zero customer service. Zero contact numbers, no response, no anything. A disgrace of a company. happy to take you money, but can't give you the product you paid for. Get a phone number Recovery Zone.
First streamer only lasted 6 months
First streamer only lasted 6 months. Purchased brand new and it didn’t work from the start. No one from customer service will help me resolve the issue
Awful experience. Product cracks & fails
Awful experience. Company hides behind a lovely website & Facebook targeted ads offering discounts on items to lure you in.
When the product arrives the quality is terrible. My XL steamer lid failed immediately within the first few weeks. The heat of the steamer cracked the lid into many pieces causing the device to not retain steam therefore not work.
I reached out the the team & after 2-3 weeks of back & forth the lid was replaced at no cost.
The replacement lid took weeks to arrive & when it did it also failed after the 2nd use. Again, cracks and unable to use any further.
It’s now been 3-4 weeks of back & forth. Hannah the customer service person only answers emails once a week and has suggested the free lid was a one time offer. A gesture of goodwill?
Her response was for me to purchase a new lid at 50% discount.
I’m sorry, but asking me to pay for something that continues to fail is not good enough. It’s expected the product would last longer than a few uses. This is not good customer service.
Consumers have a legal right that when you buy something, it’s expected to work.
In the car industry we call your product a lemon.
Cheap, Chinese quality products that fail. Backed up by a team that work part time & give zero customer service.
After turning down the additional lid at my expense, I have requested a refund
Guess what? Surprise surprise Hannah is now not responding to my emails in over 1-2 weeks.
Don’t waste your energy or time with this business. Small claims court here we come.
And lastly, Hannah, if you have any ethics at all. You will sort this out & process the refund.
Dodgy Products of poor quality
Dodgy Products of poor quality and then when they break, the customer "service" team uses stalling, denying, gaslighting tactics to avoid taking any accountability and then refuse refunds. No contact number on their website and customer service refuses to give you one. Email replies are slow and customer "service" is almost non existent. Their website doesnt allow bad reviews and I question whether the ones they have are real based on this site gaining traction. In case anyone does want a number its 0435353696 however the phone never answers as you'd fully expect with most shady companies
Don't buy
Don't buy.
You have to pay for the return, and they take their postage fee out of the refund (if they refund you).
They are a slimy company who sell poor quality products. Glad to see someone went to the ombudsman this type of business is rubbish.
Wish I never bought it, wasted all the time dealing with customer service, sending it back etc. Sigh.
