I signed up to ReadyBet recently and placed only a handful of small NBA bets — nothing unusual, nothing high-risk, and well within normal staking behaviour. Despite this, my account was suddenly restricted from placing any sports bets at all.

When I contacted support, I was told the restriction was “most likely permanent” and that they “don’t need to go into the details” of why it happened. This was surprising and frustrating, especially considering I had only been on the platform for a few days and was actually down overall at the time.

They confirmed it was a trading decision, offered no explanation, and made it clear they had no interest in reviewing the situation or providing any transparency. I was essentially told to withdraw my funds and move on.

For a new user placing low-risk bets on major sports markets, being shut down this quickly without any justification is extremely poor customer experience. If you’re considering ReadyBet for sports betting, be aware that your account can be restricted at any time, without reason, and with no option to appeal.
