We had a bathroom leak into the lounge…
We had a bathroom leak into the lounge below, my usual guys were not available so I hopped onto rated people and after a bit of research came up with these guys. From the outset they were professional and considered in the identity of the problem and went on to fix 2 separate leaks on the shower which they fixed, they advised there was also a small leak on the boiler which they are not allowed to touch because of Gas Safety regs but ensured that my boiler people were made aware. The whole experience was very professional and the charge pleasantly lower than I expected. I thoroughly recommend them.

Scam with non-existent customer service
I have set up 2 accounts with them, and from the start, it was a nightmare.
They set up both wrong. One had the wrong name on there, targeting, and contact email. The second was worse, we could access it for 4 weeks after, the email on there was spelt wrong and the other details needed updating as well.
I was told we would be refunded for the time wasted, but this never happened.
I was told about the number of leads we would get for our membership. This was a lie and the jobs on there are not sustainable, £14 for a bathroom repair.
They also wouldn't speak to me because when I set it up, I mentioned another person would be involved as well, and they only took their name, so I spent a week proving I was part of the business I set up with them.
I requested these be cancelled after the first month, 3 weeks later, there was no response, and a 3rd payment is due soon. So far, we are almost £550 down with nothing to show for it.
At the point of writing, there's been no response to me reaching out, and I will have to go to the bank to dispute these charges, as it seems to be a scam at this point.
Avoid at all costs!

I have to pay another people to come…
I have to pay another people to come and fix all work this company have done in my front garden they charge £250 to do a small job cut a small tree without root just cut , take Soil out from the bed garden and put Edging alongside my garden without they fix with cement and when I was to plant my flowers, there doesn’t remove the old soil and mower, just they add a new soil I have bought and there was a membrane in the middle from my old soil and compost . After discovering this bad job I check my cameras and then all the time they was stoping chads each other and sitting in their van . Very bad job don’t trust this company

More support is a must
The platform is simple to use, however the major problem with Rated People is a serious lack of support availability, it is impossible to speak to a human when a problem occurs. The app is also down quite often, although they do make fixes.

Alex diagnosed the fault in an obsolete fluorescent light and fixed it instantly. I was very grateful for this as no-one else would quote for the job. New to business he seemed unsure of how to collect payment but managed to sort this out. Excellent service and will certainly use him again

The Company we used was not checked properly. Did not have Public Liability Insurance in place.
The guy who ran it was a scam artist.
We looked up the Company Pinnacle Construction.
Not registered anywhere.
Could not find any info on it, neither did any other site list them for jobs
Rated People made me believe that they were properly vetted.
