Despite all the bad reviews I ordered…

Despite all the bad reviews I ordered the Lotus Slip Dress Red and it arrived very quickly (within a week). It looked exactly as described and was a very pretty dress but was way to long for me and the colour didn’t suit me as much as I’d hoped. It would have been nice if the top part of the dress was lined especially for the money. I therefore decided to return it. There was a £4 charge for that which I felt was more than reasonable and it was tracked through Royal Mail so very legit. Return was received within a couple of days and the funds returned to my account within 5 working days. Good communication so nothing to complain about here.

I’m trying to return my purchase, but my order number isn’t being recognised on your returns portal. I’ve emailed three times and haven’t received a response.

The customer service is always extremely prompt. Have always been very happy with my purchases, the fit is always spot on, and it’s hard to find a brand that always gets the fit right. Very flattering to many body types! Would love to keep acquiring pieces to my collection

Poor communication

Poor communication, ordered 4 weeks ago, item was not on pre order and I received a response 2 weeks after my first communication saying the item was pre order and it would be dispatched on 25/06. Still nothing! I will never order from here again, worst experience ever. Order was placed on 13th May.

Appalling service

Appalling service - they lost my parcel and refused to send me a new one, instead saying they would need to launch an investigation which could take over a month - pathetic, disappointing. Don’t buy from here.

Once a chargeback is opened, we are unfortunately unable to process any further refund or replacement directly, as the matter is then handled through the bank’s dispute process in line with payment regulations.

Quality issue

I have purchased multiple items from this brand over time and genuinely appreciate their beautiful designs. Unfortunately, my most recent experience has been very disappointing.

A pair of trousers priced at €170 was damaged after the very first use. In my view, the quality and durability do not match the price point.

I also found customer service to be unhelpful and not particularly understanding of the situation, which added to the frustration.

After reading other reviews, I understand that I am not alone in having this type of experience.

It’s a shame, as I have liked the brand in the past, but based on this experience I cannot recommend it.

RETURN ISSUES WITH URGENT PACKAGE

I have been trying to contact customer support regarding a return and they have not responded to me, neither via email nor instagram dm. I have mentioned it was urgent and have just received automated messages in return. I need to ship back a package and I am awaiting their response and the deadline for the return is coming and it is ridiculous that they have not responded to me. If there is an issue with my refund I will be extremely angry because this is not my fault at all and it was an expensive dress! To ship with USPS is $75 which is crazy!!! This is not the way such an expensive company should be dealing with their customer service.

We're also sorry to hear about the cost you incurred returning your parcel. As you chose to ship the return using your own courier, we unfortunately don't have visibility of the shipping charges paid. We do offer a pre-paid return label for $15, which is available as an alternative return option.

I can see that your return is currently in transit to our warehouse. Once it has been received, your refund will be processed within 5 working days in line with our returns policy.

I can also see that our Customer Care team has now been in touch to provide further assistance and work towards a resolution for you.

overall I’m a huge fan of rat and boa…

overall I’m a huge fan of rat and boa and have been following them for 7 years or so. Have some dresses from them that are my favorites for holidays and these dresses always get most of compliments. Also, I have never had issue with their support and returns, however I’m a bit confused/ disappointed with the newly introduced pre-order function. I already saw similar complaint here with exactly same items being ordered as I ordered. I ordered sonni trousers and adah shirt in red on 20th of may (Order number
#eur136963), both items were said to be preordered and should have been shipped on 18th of June, and it was also written that items will be shipped together once both of them available. In the end Sonni trousers became available earlier and I received them on 10th of June while adah shirt still is not even shipped as of today, 23rd of June. Honestly, I don’t really see the point of delivering these items separately as without shirt I still can’t evaluate the whole set, how it fits me and decide if I want to keep it. Also, I would really appreciate if rat and boa at least could have sent additional email saying that adah shirt is being delayed and mention approximate date when they expect to ship it. I can imagine that this can be especially frustrating for people who ordered items for some particular event and now they don’t get the order for the date.
So all in all I love rat and boa and their styles, but some improvements definitely can be done there :)

Highly recommended
