Radisson Blu Zurich Airport Stayed here with my wife and daughter before an early flight to Amsterdam. The air conditioning didn’t work, and since the windows don’t open, the room was unbearably ho... See more

Very poor experience with Radisson Blue - Dunkirk.
Radisson Blue - Dunkirk.
Many bad points with this hotel :- Please bear in mind that the hotel has 110 rooms and approx 25 parking spaces! Be prepared to park your car outside of the hotel grounds and a distance away. After paying for the room, they then take a deposit for additional charges, they will make full use of this and fraudulently make up charges to reach the full amount! We were offered breakfast at check-in, to which we said 'no' as we were leaving early - 6am to travel for the shuttle, we were charged 44.00 Euros regardless. My son and I also tried ordering some fries and pizza from the room menu, along with a beer to the room via room service. We were told that the hotel had run out of fries, pretty poor for a large hotel chain, 40 mins later we received 2 cold pizza's and no beer. We then requested that the beer be delivered to the room and have then been charged twice. We didn't know we'd been charged the extra amounts until we arrived home due to the hotels computers conveniently not working at check out.
I have tried contacting the hotel directly via email to complain and also explain the extra charges but do not get a response. Fortunately we booked via Booking.com so are now using them as the intermediary. It's looking like we'll probably have to use the chargeback facility with our credit card provider to recover the costs. The hotel room wasn't cheap either at 224.00 Euros for the night!
Extremely poor customer service from Radisson Blu and we certainly won't be staying at one of their hotels in the future.
Radisson blue Helsingborg
The room was fine, and stylish decorared. But the bathroom was just awefull. Not at all as they show on the pictures. It smelled a bit like urine. And did not go with the hotel at all. It apperared to be a handicap toilet, with alarms etc. As they have on nursing homes. None if us is handicaped, so i don’t quite get why we got the room? We where there at 15:15, so plenty of people weren’t checked in yet. Ans the hotel was not fully booked. I think it’s fake advertising!
16 emails
Stay was great, but I have received 16 emails from Radisson and Booking.com, for a 3 day stay. That is absolutely insane and the irony is that the “review your stay” bullsh*t is what eventually made me leave a one star review.
Great service by Radisson Blu Capetown.
I had a package that was nearly lost when it was sent to Cape Town. Luckily a very nice lady called Nandi was very helpful and kind and managed to locate the parcel while I was in the UK. Super happy with her efficiency and service and she said that she would get it to my son who was staying there. Very happy chappy.
Bad reception Radisson blu covent garden
Today, I went to the Radisson blu hotel in mercer st and ask politely at the reception if i could use the bathroom which usually is never a problem in any other 4* hotels. On very rare occasion I sometimes used hotel bathroom.
To my surprise, the lobby manager Ana Santos said its only for hotel guests in a very cold, unfriendly and unhelpful manner. By the way she acted it seemed her new job title has gone up to her head. Who is she to talk to a senior citizen this way? And she had the audacity to tell me that the team from before had the courtesy to let me use the bathroom. SHE should have to courtesy to let me use it. My God, how those ghastly people end in these job position!
God forbid if i was pregnant or had a hidden disability and needed the bathroom. It is very sad that the receptionists who used to be very classy has now be replaced by this horrendous young girl and those 2 clueless women behind the desk. There were 2 young guys being debriefed by Mizz Santos. They were the only ones who smiled at me.
This is not good 4* hotel etiquette. the other Radisson hotels i know in London are not like that. They are always welcoming, friendly and helpful. I will not go back to this hotel, not even for a cup of tea until this young girl with no manners whatsoever and 0 customer service is working there. Disgusting experience. I miss the old team.

I wanted to make a special request by buying a spa entrance ticket.
Been informed that I need to write en mail which I did, but never got response.. after I called more than 20 times in 4 days been told that I will be contacted by somebody from FO that somebody never responded my mails or calls. Moreover they often don’t respond your call. You need to wait on the line and be redirected every time to the answer machine.

Stayed there for a business meeting and absolutely fine. The coffee bar was a little expensive but the service was great and the staff friendly.
We stayed at Radisson Blu Bond Street…
We stayed at Radisson Blu Bond Street on Saturday night. I have MND and I use a wheelchair. We booked the room a year ago. They said the room wasn’t available as the current occupants had extended their stay, but we had been upgraded to a suit. But it was not accessible and it was very hard for me to use the loo. I have sustained a knee injury as a result. They have no disabled loo for public use. Ruined my weekend.
Radisson Blu Athlone Pigsty
Having recently re-watched Sergio Leones Masterpiece; The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, I decided to use this great movie’s theme for my Radisson Blu Athlone Review.
The Good - Clint Eastwood
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Family room was fantastic and spacious with comfortable beds and a massive bathroom.
Check-in was fast and efficient and the receptionist was very professional and friendly.
Hotel is in a top central location in Athlone town. Most staff make a real effort to try and right the wrongs, which sadly were many (See The Bad).
Breakfast was very good with a good selection of items as well as non filter machine coffee.
The swimming pool was nice too.
The hotel advertises one restaurant and a bar, both serving food, however, we were advised the restaurant doesn’t take bookings of less than 15 people usually. This meant we could only eat in the bar. Hard to believe a hotel does not open its restaurant as a normal hotel restaurant does. I’ve never come across this before in any of the hotels that I have frequented in the past. The food in the bar was really atrocious but after complaining about my meal I was given a credit for a desert and a coffee. On our second night we ate out in Athlone town not wishing to waste our money in the bar and thankfully we had the most Beautiful Italian food in a nearby restaurant.
I requested a River View when booking and while my parents-in-law did get a River View, my family and I did not which was disappointing but as mentioned above and river view aside, our family room was a nice room.
At 9pm on Sunday night I ordered a Bailey’s coffee and an Americano but was told they weren’t serving coffee anywhere in the hotel! What’s going on?? I reported this to reception who assured me the bar staff were wrong but at that stage we had organised alternative drinks. My mother in law opted for tea instead of an Americano and while very minor her tea cup was put on a side plate instead of a saucer.
Enjoying the mild pleasant Sunday evening outside on the decking, we were asked to leave as they were closing at 10:30pm. What excuse do they possibly have for this? Unbelievable really.
There were NO Nespresso capsules provided with the Nespresso machines because apparently the Nespresso capsule order was delayed.
The Ugly - Eli Wallach
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Some wear and tear in the rooms such as our table and the wardrobe made the decor feel a little dated. A very strong damp smell lingers on the 5th floor. My mother in laws toilet in her room had a lot of black mold on the side of the bath and her carpet was covered in stains. After complaining she was upgraded to a better room so as mentioned in the Good, most staff do try to help out as much as possible and genuinely seem to care.
The two couches in reception were disgustingly filthy - see attached pics. Why can’t they be cleaned? Shame on you radisson for the lack of standards and filthy hotel. The GM should hang their head in shame, that is indeed if there is a GM in the first place. It’s a disgrace. I once worked in the Radisson in St Helen’s in Dublin many years ago and they were almost pedantic about cleanliness, so what’s changed since then? I was told by the duty manager that the couch is currently being measured for a re-clothing but even so to allow this couch to become so filthy all over should not have been allowed to happen - no excuses there.
Summary:
~~~~~~~~
Upon checkout I was asked how my stay was and I voiced all my complaints with the duty manager who was very nice and took note of all my complaints and said he would have guest relations call me soon to discuss.
Hands down the Radisson Hotel in Athlone is the most disgusting Radisson hotel that I and my family have ever stayed in, but on the flip side the hotel has massive potential to be the Radisson that we all know and love once again.
Don't Expect to Sleep
Radisson Blu, Letterkenny, Donegal, Ireland. They should be paying people to stay there, not the other way round. Initially booked two nights at the hotel and had to change it to one night when we realised how noisy it was shortly after arrival (doors slamming frequently in the corridor). An army barracks would have been quieter. Tried settling down for the night and the occupant of the next room starts banging room door, toilet door and rattling hangers in wardrobe unit. The worst is the room door banging frequently through the night as whoever it is goes in and out with no intention of sleeping. By this time my wife has managed to get over (miraculously, given the noise) and sleep through it. She had a long drive that day and I didn't want to disturb her by getting up and reporting the noise, so ended up having a sleepless night. Had the impression next day that we were getting a refund, but turns out this was only partial, so absolutely raging that I have basically paid good money for a miserable night. The very least you would expect from a hotel is that you are able to sleep, and if another guest is keeping you awake, it is on their watch. Do not even think of visiting this place if you are looking for this most basic of expectations or even a proper paperwork breakdown of what you have paid for. Also, was offered a discount on the phone by the manageress when booking, but didn't get it. Avoid like the plague.
Radisson Blu Durham Dietary requirements.
Radisson Blu Durham. Dietary requirements. Despite early notification and reminder of essential dietary requirements no effort made to accommodate this essential element. Gave up after first night. Sent in a very detailed and constructive critique to inspire some action that might benefit others in future. The response was as bland as the hotel including a nod to the sentiment of "apart from that Mrs. Lincoln how did you enjoy the play?".
Manchester Radisson Blu
Manchester Radisson Blu. Poor customer service. Veronica at reception clearly needs a course in customer relations. Unsmiling, unwelcoming and quite hostile. Half an hour on the phone to reception to ask for some shower gel which wasn’t included in the room toiletries ( Premium Room) Eventually I went down to reception where Veronica continued to glower. When I mentioned that I had been calling reception for half an hour she shrugged and said “My colleague answers the phone.” For £260 a night I expect at least some courtesy. And the barest minimum of service. None forthcoming in either area I’m afraid!
Poor poor customer service
Radisson blu Stansted Airport...this hotel takes credit card only. Used the restaurant charged £93 for pizza and bottle of wine. Waitress said card machine not working so took 2nd payment on another machine...charged twice I This was in march and still waiting refund. Happy to take your money but not too return. I have tried to call no one to speak to. sent so many emails still no payment how can this take so long to action Take care all !!!
Negative
Wrong information about a pool there in Hasselt but isn't there, no answers via mail, connection via phone failed and they don't call back...
They deserve every star!
Very expensive, good service,and I will certainly come back!!! They deserve every star!
The Birmingham City centre Hotel is…
The Birmingham City centre Hotel is great. Clean, good size rooms and helpful staff. I had a car fine because I parked without permission, when I received the fine I explained the situation, they were so helpful and cancelled my £100 parking fine. Great customer service!
Radisson blu Morgan
Radisson blu Morgan
Definitely would not class this particular hotel a 5 star as they’ve advertised it. I travel 5 star hotels round the world and this one does not fit in that category whatsoever! Discrimination at the highest!
Arrogant and rude staff, managers backing the staff although staff being on the wrong! That just shows lack of professionalism with no equality especially for the management team. The company needs to review their decision in employing unqualified employees with no interpersonal skills. In addition to this the spa is at additional cost which is a joke for a hotel advertised as ‘5 stars’! And the list just goes on!
Absolutely ridiculous this hotel has more red flags on the list🚩
What’s more appalling is that I see a lot of previous bad reviews here and yet the management have made false statements that will improve, however, I see no changes is in place! Surely if changes were to be made when people initially complained, by now I shouldn’t be experiencing similar issues.
Furthermore, to prove how shallow the management team is they even blocked my google review! This explains all.
I would definitely NOT recommend this hotel. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
My experience at radisson blu Bristol…
My experience at radisson blu Bristol was awful. They charged extra £94 to my account for no apparent reason, and won’t provide me with a invoice so I can get ny refund. They also don’t pick up the phone or answer any emails. Very unprofessional from your team in radisson blu, highly I recommended unless you want to be scammed
Radisson Blu Malmø - highly unprofessional - find another hotel.
Radisson Blu Malmø are not keeping their promises - they are shutting down communications - simply not reliable. Find another hotel when in Malmø.! Their a/c didn’t work so the junior suite was freezing cold. They provided a portable heater which couldn’t do the job. We checked out 4 hours later due to the cold - we were promised the our reward night from Hotels.com would be reimbursed. And we were told it was a general problem and had been for a while. I’ve written to the hotel - they read the messages but no reply. The icing of the cake is the disabled the mail. Not professional!
Istambul hotel is pretty average
