Was very skeptical at thr beginning but hey It certainly worked on my BMW 220i, did couple of timings and there is straight away a noticeable difference. 0-100 easy 1 sec faster but the real power kicks in on higher speeds.
Sadly i had to send my unit back due to country restriction and lack of documentation for the unit.
Costumer service very friendly and 30 days free return policy.
4 stars because of lack of paperwork.

Ordered my chip it was sent, marked as delivered a week ago but was not recieved contacted customer service they told me they would file a complaint and get into contact within 24 hours, 4 days later no response. My chip finally arrives after me myself calling fedex and dealing with them, go to install it, once installed no power to the chip run through the FAQs look online at similar installs, chips installed correctly but no power to chip engine will not start with chip plugged in but works perfectly without chip. Can only assume I was sent a faulty chip that was delayed and I had to deal with the delayed delivery myself… contacting them to try and resolve the issue of a chip that does not work but I remain sceptical I’ve spent 550 euros and feel scammed

I recently bought a Fiat 500 Twinair Turbo, but coming from a Fiat Seicento I was missing the go-kart feel. I didn't feel as connected to the road anymore in the 500. After some research I found this was due to throttle lag; A delay in power you feel when pressing the gas. I've bought the Racechip RS in the hope to get more responsiveness back and at my surprise it honestly feels as kart-like as a Seicento again. Just with WAY more power! It's a very subtle change and I didn't expect to turn a Fiat into a Ferrari, but my 500 finally feels 'complete' again. Definitely worth the upgrade for responsiveness alone. :)

I purchased the GTS+app 21/08/21. I wanted something to help with economy on my commute. I tried every reputable mechanic in Plymouth and Exeter and everyone refused to install. I asked my mobile mechanic and he also refused. The response was they're unsure about the effect this device can have. I tried for months and failed. I tried to fit myself but to purchase the correct tools and dedicate time off from work was more more money. I contacted Racechip for a refund and they refused even when the product was never installed and still in its original box. I even offered it back to them for free in the end and they still refused. The told me to sell it myself. The price for these chips on eBay etc. Is for a third of the cost new. And no one buys them. I've been trying to sell this for nearly a year now, and guess what, no one wants to buy this product.
My advice...For the same price you can get a mobile engineer to remap your car. It's safer, reversible, cheaper with no extra fitting costs, better customer support and service, face to face support, better performance, and a warranty to protect your car.
Stay away from Racechip. I can't say if the product works, but with poor customer support, and a company that doesn't even believe in there own products ( they refused it's return). I recommend avoiding this company and products.

I was little sceptical about this XLR but have to admit, I was totally shocked, the Race+ WOW, what a massive difference, I have had my car Chipped up as well, but by the gods above me, what a difference, amazing

Have not yet tried the product, though I am confident it will work as expected, however I was shocked to receive a fedex import bill for nearly a quarter the price for the unit itself. I realise being in the UK we are not part of Europe but only fedex seem to impose these charges, so maybe consider another courier instead and send as a gift.

Well....got a GTS for my Suzuki Swift (AZ) Boosterjet Sport 2019. No problems at all installing it (after I got the right pictures for my car - K14C engine).
But........I can´t connect it between mobile phone (Android 7) and the GTS. It fails big time and following messege came up: "Attension. Error adding a new product. Try again". Yup. Did that 10-12 times now and still no succes.
Waiting answer from support.

Purchased the “S” version for my Audi A3 1.9TDI.
Simple to install, great price and instantly noticeable increase in torque.
I’m yet to test it on a long run to check whether the MPG improves.
So far, so good.

Got the GTS for my 2020 MINI JCW. Installation was breeze easy, clear instruction with more than enough cable ties included. May want to include velcro tape next time, RaceChip.

Tried all stages, got mine with the apps control, all suits my driving style depending whenever I need it.

I look forward in getting the XLR for quick throttle response next :)

Easy to install the chip, the instructions for the product were clear and came with pictures. The performance you can feel it more on setup number 5, the setup number 3 that comes straight out of the box doesn't make much difference from standard setup.

I was forced to file a complaint with the gendarmerie for fraud following my purchase.
The box is incompatible with my engine.
All tests and instructions were followed.
After 2 cases changed, I asked for a refund.
They sent me back a third.
I had someone from customer service explain to me that they didn't care about my problem, that I didn't have to return them and that I could go and file a complaint.
TO FIRE, THEY ARE SCAMS !!
And following this review, know that RACECHIP will contact Trustpilot to let them know that I am not a customer so that my review is not published.
Unfortunately for them, I kept all the credentials and Trustpilot and a completely neutral and objective site.
I hope you don’t make the same mistake I did.

Hi there I bought the GTS model for my Vauxhall insignia 2.0 cdti 160hp
I have it on the highest setting 7
I find it has made a difference to the car the extra torque has me driving around in sixth gear at around 36mph,so I have not noticed any more higher fuel consumption.
I would also say that it drives a lot smoother as there's less lag, whether it's faster I would say it must be but not that you would notice unless you are booting it.
Great support from the wholesalers if you buy direct , wait for an offer to come up on the website,I got £150 off the GTS model at Xmas.

Hi folks, I posted an average review for this product recently. However CS contacted me to offer support. My concern was the power increase was barely noticeable. Since then, well today actually, I drove my 2012XC90 for the first time since contacting CS. I’m not sure what, if anything they have done, but I now have a much more powerful car. I was quite shocked actually.

Good experience, tke kit seems to be working on my car, i feel a quicker acceleration especially on the second and third gear and this is exactly what I was looking for. Ordering, shipping and customer support was all fine and quick. So far all is good.

I bought the S version for my 2012 1.8 TSI Yeti and its done everything its said. Easy to install and easy to change the level of boost. I played around with the level of boost to see which was best suited. After a month I changed the boost level to 0 to see if my other half could tell the difference and sure enough after a day or so she complained the car didn't have the oomph off the lights as it did and could I look at it. So that's proof in its self.
The beauty of adding these instead of a full remap is you can alter it as and when with no fuss.
I'd recommend to anyone who is looking for a little more without spending big money.

Terrible tuning chip. I purchased one for my 2021 Ford Ranger directly from over sea’s that got to me rather quickly. Installation was pretty straight forward but it gave me absolutely no more power. There was no difference between stock and tune set to the performance setting. Basically an expensive paper weight. It was I nightmare to return and get reimbursed. Glad it’s behind me now.

I Ordered my Race-Chip over a month ago, I paid roughly 150 for the one for my car. I hadn't received it for quite some time so I inquired about my order. The response I got, was I quote - "Hereby we would like to inform you that we need to cancel your order.

Unfortunately, we can not process the payment: Amount no longer available"

I have not received a follow-up email since and I am truly outraged by this.

2013 BMW X3 20d. New Zealand Arrived 2 days after ordered.
10 minute to fit. ZOOM!! Brilliant. I am going to be very interested in average fuel burn now.

This the second one I have purchased. The first one was 2015 for a 2013 Peugeot 208 GTI. Even with a big aftermarket intercooler and poking out 253 hp it would still average 5.9L/100km traveling to work. Never had any problems.

Average fuel usage has dropped from 7.2l/100km to 6.1l/100km I reckon that's pretty good. More than happy

Following my below review, and many emails, RaceChip finally agreed to a full refund. A label for return was sent to me and I duly returned the chip.

A couple of days later I received an email saying the chip had been received and refund would be processed within 14 days.

16 days later no such refund received so I emailed them for and update and incredulously, despite email confirming safe receipt, they now claim chip was not received!!!

Worst company i've ever dealt with.

Racechip S arrived, unboxed and opened instructions and found them to be for a different car, turns out they only have the one standard instructions and email you ones for your car.

The email was a picture of my engine bay with two sensors circled, one you could see as the engine cover had been left on.

So racechip are sending out units with instructions they know that you cannot use to install racechip into your car.

They say some installs can be tricky, my car would of needed some of the engine taking apart which im not qualified to do and they wont cover garage costs for install.

Customer service is horrible, spoke to an Oliver who told me he wasnt qualified to answer some of my questions and the other guy i had to ask the same question at least 3 times as he insisted on answering the question he wanted to answer, not the one i asked.

No effort made to keep my business or even asked ii i would like to be transfered to someone who could help me, just seemed keen to process my return.

If they had been upfront about the install for my car i never would have ordered rather than ordering, finding out things the long way, seems a complete waste of time.

Also has me concerned that if the company puts this little effort into the instruction manuals does the same effort go into the chip??

Horrible experience, best avoid racechip and find a company that will support and look after you.
