Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 277 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers expressed significant dissatisfaction with the subscription model, finding that services initially perceived as free later required expensive annual payments. People frequently encountered issues with pricing transparency, noting that advertised monthly rates often turned into unexpected yearly charges, and that free trials quickly expired, deactivating their QR codes. Reviewers also reported problems with the payment process, including unexpected auto-renewals and difficulty canceling subscriptions. The website's information was often criticized for being unclear about trial periods and the necessity of paid subscriptions, leading to frustration when QR codes stopped working after printing. Many consumers felt the customer service was unhelpful when trying to resolve these issues.

It's a total scam

Website makes it look like the QR is free, then they'll send you a 96$ a year invoice to keep it. Total scam. They even say on their website "FREE QR" A total of NINE TIMES. It's a blatant lie.

Sleazy company.

I don't know how this site is permitted to operate out of the European Union. Total scam. It's "free" until they send you a bill for an annual charge or your QR code will get deactivated. Really sleazy. Thankfully, we hadn't printed the materials yet. What a waste of paper that would have been.

FYI, you can make a free QR code in Chrome, which is what I did.

This site scammed me

This site scammed me. I created what I thought was a free QR code - was over the moon with it. Spent hundreds on creating banners, business cards and flyers for my business only to receive an email 4 days later saying that I either pay a £144 yearly subscription or my QR Codes will not be scanned and invalid. Nowhere when I was creating the QR code did it mention a trial period or a due payment in the coming days.

What a waste of time, money and resources.

DO NOT USE

DO NOT USE
They trick you into the free trial, but it's not free because you will have to pay to keep the code you generated working. Their paid features must be so useless that they have to scam people into paying for plans.

Wish I could give a negative rating. SCAM.

Wish I could give a negative rating for this. This company is a scam. I was not notified for being charged monthly for multiple months. $20 for a QR code? Makes absolutely no sense. Find a free generator and don't get scammed by this one.

Scam!!!

Scam!!!! If you’re using for paid work avoid at all costs. I had the link printed on business cards just for it to say it doesn’t work anymore. I would have to pay a monthly/yearly subscription for the link to work. That means business cards have to be reprinted, and also means wasted money. Wish I could rate 0 stars.

Not what it seems

I previously gave this company a nice review. Made a code, was happy with it, printed it on several items. Received an email 10 days later saying if I don't pay a fee the code will no longer work. What a scam for a "free " code generator.

NOT FREE AT ALL.

NOT FREE AT ALL.
They make you create a QR code and then tell you after a week that it will be deactivated if you don't pay.

This is a scam company

This is a scam company. You pay legitimately for a QR code $1 and then 2 weeks later debited $60 a month subscription which you didn't sign up for. And none of the QR codes work after 2 weeks. IT'S A SCAM. AVOID

Do not use this scammy website

Do not use this scammy website! They make a QR code but then after a certain time de-activate it without warning, so it no longer works, and you have to pay an exorbitant subscription of at least £16.45 per MONTH to use it (or £46 for only one month). Outrageous and disgusting.

They have noone to talk to! SCAM

They have noone to talk to - they charged me money without notifying that my trial was ending and when im trying to talk to someone they just have an AI chatbot that even refuses to tell me where the company is based in so I can file an official complaint with consumer law. They don't have an email/phone or contact form. Completely ghost company

0 stars if I could. I used this service for a small work project. It's a year later and I no longer work at the company. The email that's associated with the subscription no longer exists. I was charged $125. Their support is an AI chat bot that can't help me.

Crap company that has bots instead of…

Crap company that has bots instead of customer service. Their method to cancel is opaque and there is no way to ask questions. I thought I cancelled my monthly payment but did it incorrectly. They charged me today. I finally tracked down a social media person and got someone to email me and they said no refund and no further contact. This is a great example of a company that does it all wrong.
