I called Qdos after a recommendation to get a contract review from my accountant. I am new to contracting and wanted to ask a few questions before purchasing this product. I was told by the Qdos sales person I would get advice on IR35, a review of every clause in the contract as well as a review of my working practices. I was explicitly told I could discuss any IR35 factor and resubmit amendments to see if they then pass the review. I went ahead with the product and submitted the questionnaire unsure of some of that answers as for example I didn’t have insurance yet (as it is a new company) and wanted to know if I needed it. I was returned the review a few days later, I obviously had some questions regarding some of the comments but my email was ignored. I had not yet signed the contract and it was still open to amendments. I was hoping for advice and assistance to make my contract compliant not to be told it is not currently. I feel let down my Qdos as I was led to believe I was purchasing advice along with the review instead of an abrupt set of comments which did not really help me to amend my contract to be more robust against IR35.
