Came from Doha to Dublin on 19th July
Came from Doha to Dublin on 19th July. Aircraft was really hot through the journey. Flight attendants were rude (looking down on us I was with my two young daughters, we’re African). She skipped asking my daughter for drink despite her clearly awake and in the inside seat. I have to call her back, they don’t even aknlowedge a thank you from me couple of times. Near landing they asked us to put the tray up without collecting the horrible juice they served before landing, I had to open a bottle to empty the plastic cup before it spill with landing. Never had such bad treatment on a flight before. Good thing is takeoff and landing were smooth.ast thing seats are really really tight and cramped together.
Stranded in Frankfurt by the “World’s best airline" :(
Stranded in Frankfurt by the “World’s Best Airline”
On 27 March 2026, my spouse and I were left stranded at Frankfurt Airport after Qatar Airways rebooked our return flight to Copenhagen, without arranging any onward transport to get us to our final destination. Under EU law, airlines are obligated to re-route passengers in this situation – Qatar Airways did not. We had no choice but to pay for new flight tickets ourselves to get home.
We contacted Qatar Airways with full documentation and a formal request for reimbursement, but didn’t get any response from Qatar Airways at all !!!
It’s disappointing to experience this kind of treatment from an airline that markets itself so heavily as the “World’s Best Airline.” Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Qatar Airways and would think twice before booking with them again.
Still waiting on a refund 5 months later
Still waiting on a refund for cancelled flight 5 months later. Have called Qatar over 5 times and no progress. They make it incredibly difficult to access the booking details as i have to provide - name, email, phone number, booking date and as it was booked by ATS I don’t know which email or number was used for the booking.
Impossible refund
My flight got cancelled and I requested a refund. I’ve been waiting over two months and calling them every week asking what’s the situation but every single time they tell me they just escalated the situation to the proper team. Their own policy states that they complete the refund within 28 days. I find this outrageous.
Customer Service
Cancelled & refunded a flight from EU, without any option to rebook or reroute, causing for frustration and additional costs via alternative airlines.
Disappointed by the way they handled my case, simply rejecting all requests for compensation and support (not even the phone bill, holding for 2hrs)
Working a scam here
Working a scam here , cancel flight , offer to cancel , take it up , full total showing then send much smaller amount to credit card . Underhand in the extreme .
I have been waiting for my refund for over 5 months
I have been waiting for my refund for over 5 months now . I requested a refund from them due to the war in March but till now l am still waiting. Their excuse is that they are waiting on the airline however l contacted Qatar airways to find out what the hold up is they said they have given the agent the refund they even gave me the refund voucher sent to flight catchers. This is becoming more stressful and affecting my mental health.
Never Qatar Airways
I booked a flight from Berlin to Islamabad with Qatar Airways via lastminute.com. At the airport, I was denied boarding despite having a valid German passport and a valid multiple-entry visa for Pakistan. The ticket went unused. The following day, I was able to travel to Pakistan without any issues using a newly purchased ticket. Since then, I have been passed back and forth between lastminute.com and Qatar Airways without receiving a satisfactory resolution. I recommend carefully checking how such cases are handled before booking.
Not trustworthy at all stolen air miles
Not trustworthy at all, in May 2026 I received a email stating that I had changed my mobile number and email address. This was obviously fraud so I called Qatar within 10 minutes and blocked this. Last month I wanted to book a flight using my airmiles and I noticed my air miles were gone. According to my statement the airmiles were used to book a international flight a week after I reported and blocked the attempted hack. 1 month later no refund of air miles or feedback.
Left me stranded - do not trust them
Absolutely TERRIBLE Company. Do not trust these people. They lie, are dishonest and leave you stranded.
I have been flying with Qatar for a few years and since February 2026 onwards the standards of service are absolutely shocking.
There was a flight I was on from DXB to DOHA ON Sunday afternoon, which was delayed.
I told them I needed to be in Manchester on my schedule Sunday and I was happy to travel with another airline if they could not guarantee I would get there on time.
They told me directly the airline informed them they were going to hold my connecting flight in Doha as it would not be a long wait at all.
When it became over 1.5 hours I asked them to let me take my bags and I would catch another flight with another airline to which they told me it was "not possible to do this."
After another 45 minutes waiting they agreed they could take my baggage off the aircraft, but by now it weas tool late for me to get the alternate flight with another airline.
So I flew to Doha and...the flight was missed and so was the next one! They scheduled me to be on an overnight flight via Munich, landing in Manchester at 09:45 Monday morning, which was impossible for me to make my meetings for, so I refused this as it was not in my agreement.
I told them I can still make a flight in Dubai but I need to catch the flight back.
The representative made me sign a document I told her did not look correct as I just wanted to return to Dubai (albeit I told them at their expense for their lies in the flight waiting for me.
They gave me a ticket for 7:00pm return to Dubai and I made a new flight with another airline at 03:00am which got me into Manchester at 08:20am Monday morning (I made my meeting with 15 minutes to spare).
Since Monday I have been speaking with the Gold Contact whatsapp agents requesting they refund me the part of the flight from DOHA > MANCHESTER, since they did not offer me the flight I paid for and it would make me late. They LIED AGAIN, and told me I need to complete the return part of the journey before requesting a refund for this part of the flight.
For several days I have been requesting updates on this as it did not seem right. I started to get calls from a London number on Tuesday and when I called it back it answered like a fax machine horrible noise. I did try several times but same thing kept happening.
So I am due to fly back to DXB from Manchester tonight and I receive a call at 07:30am this morning (same day as flight) to tell me my flight is cancelled, they are refunding me a little over £2,100 and they charged me for the flight from Doha to Dubai.
I know this is not a European rules-based airline, but if it was, they would be in som many breaches.
I have spent the whole day trying to get someone with authority to speak to me, which has not happened at all. Then I check my app and it shows my flight is still going ahead for me!
So I called them at 13:00pm to confirm and they told me I am not scheduled to fly, despite the app telling me I am.
Again, I requested to speak to a supervisor or a manager but they insist this is not possible.
So now I am stranded in the UK and need to book a new flight with an alternate provider.
I have several flights with Qatar booked already in advance (usual for me to book 3 months in advance) which I have asked them to cancel. They informed me since one flight has a guest travelling I will be charged $25 per booking cancellation fee. I asked them to forgo this charge as a gesture of goodwill for all the issues they have caused me and they refused citing "the process will not let me."
I asked them to put me in touch with the person who is charge of the process but they cannot.
So in summary:
1. They lied about the aircraft waiting in Doha
2. They lied about my transfer back to Dubai being met at their cost.
3. They lied about my getting a refund once my return journey was completed.
4. They refuse to put me in touch with a person who can refund less than $150 in charges a gesture of goodwill.
DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY FOR ANY IMPORTANT TRAVEL YOU MAY HAVE.
They were excellent right up until February 2026. The worst part of this really is that the onboard experience and Business / First lounges are excellent in Hammad International Airport.....but sadly they have no concept of customer care.

TICKETS NUMBER 7952122637042 BOOKING REFERENCE. FHTEZG
I am a disabled person unable to walk and required my medical needs to be carried with me due to excessive weight loss. I have had bad experiences from budget airlines but never expected the same for Qatar Airlines ! I can see the rating on TP to be totally justified. I am also aware of budget airlines ( now Qatar Air too) offering great services in form but totally not in substance.
I am travelling to Brisbane Australia on what may be my final long trip with my wife to visit our daughter and family and to welcome our new expected grandchild and our precious granddaughter.
Following Post booking confirmation, I have made several endeavours to get a response by email to their speak....email address giving a total breakdown of my weight and itemisation of all equipment along with the Relevant medical docs.for verification purposes. Having not heard for many days the following exacerbated anxiety, I have followed by several telephone numbers within the UK without human contact. ..and the usual "we are experiencing a high level of call..." messages. I have made complaints recently against Wizzair to the CAA citing the necessary regulations which have to be applied and will await the response of the current issue with Qatar. I have included my reference numbers for Qatar Air to respond and shall update post Qatar Air response (if any ) below. Qatar Air needs to get their act together or risk loosing business. This is a genuine complaint which can be verified easily.
My flight was on 5th of May early…
My flight was on 5th of May early morning and 4th evening i was in ED due to very high blood pressure and couldn't fly .I have submitted all the documents from the doctors to Qatar Airways this was happened on 4th May 2026 . Today I received the letter saying they won't refund the money fully unless it is terminal illness or communicable disease .I can't understand they are saying high BP is not Medical Emergency and it took more than 2 months to give decision that is on 15th July 2026and the money they will refund only 1/3 Rd of the flight ticket. Worst service for costumer service very bad experience
Abysmal airline based in a dystopian hell-hole
Almost impossible to contact with a complaint, and apparently ‘not a member’ of the (almost all) airlines who have standard compensation rules for delays. So if your flight arrives 6.5 hours late, as ours did, you’ll get nothing as opposed to EURO 600 per passenger compensation as you would with say, KLM. Oh, and while I’m at it: Doha airport wouldn’t need a plant filled greenhouse room if the rest of it wasn’t a dystopian hell-hole.
I am deeply disappointed by my check-in…
I am deeply disappointed by my check-in experience with Qatar Airways at Houston George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH).
When I approached the check-in counter, the representative, Wasi, did not greet me with a smile or any welcoming words. Instead, he immediately said, “I need your passports. Where are your carry-on bags? Put them on the scale.” There was no effort to make me feel welcomed or valued as a customer.
After weighing my carry-on bag, he informed me that it exceeded the airline’s 7 kg carry-on limit and that I would need to check the bag for an additional $255.00. I explained that this was my first time flying with Qatar Airways and that I had never encountered such a strict carry-on policy with other airlines. Rather than offering assistance or explaining the policy with empathy, he simply responded that “it’s on our website,” and told me I would need to remove items from my bag, move aside, and return to the back of the line once I was finished.
At the time, I was traveling alone with my 6-year-old daughter, managing four large checked suitcases, two luggage carts, and two carry-on bags. I respectfully asked whether someone could briefly help me move my luggage or whether I could quickly reorganize my belongings at the counter. Wasi refused both requests, stating that no one could assist me and that I could not open my bag at the counter for security reasons. His tone throughout the interaction was cold, dismissive, and lacking compassion.
Because of how I was being treated, I requested to speak with a supervisor. I had to ask twice before one was called.
Unfortunately, my experience did not improve. The supervisor observed me struggling alone with multiple pieces of luggage while caring for my young daughter and offered no assistance. I was also informed that my daughter’s small elementary school backpack—which contained only a blanket and a stuffed animal—did not qualify as a personal item. This decision seemed unnecessarily rigid and lacked any consideration for a family traveling with a young child.
I understand and respect that airlines have policies regarding baggage allowances. My concern is not with the policy itself, but with the manner in which it was communicated and enforced. Customer service should reflect professionalism, courtesy, empathy, and respect. Throughout this experience, I felt treated as an inconvenience rather than as a valued passenger.
I hope Qatar Airways reviews the customer service provided at the Houston IAH check-in counter and reinforces the importance of professionalism, kindness, and compassion—especially when assisting families traveling with young children. A courteous attitude and willingness to help can make a significant difference in a passenger’s travel experience.
bad experience for business class
bad experience for business class, seats malfunction and audio malfunction.. bad comfort, no aftermath compensation. waste of money.. avoid Business Class of Qatar airways!
Flight changes
We have had a flight reschedule, no email notification, I just happened to go in the app and saw it on there.
Extremely rude and condescending advisors, really unhelpful,
basically our first flight had been changed by Qatar, which meant we would arrive after our 2nd flight had already departed, their solution was refund, not taking into account all the travel costs and hotel costs which we have already paid, they would not put us on a similar flight, or another airline which was already going at the same time,
I was on the phone with them for 4 hours and 16 mins! i’m travelling with a minor who has a medical condition (JV) and two elderly parents
Poor customer service
Poor customer service. My return flight has now been rerouted, so I now have a stop off (which is 45 minute but I wait on the plane) the reroute now adds an additional 4 hours to my journey. I asked them to either upgrade me (refused) or simply allocate me a seat at the front of the plane as it has now left me with a 45 minute window to catch my connecting flight. I have booked this route with them for the last 3 years. They have told me that they refuse and if I want to pre-book a seat I must pay. Their responses are tone deaf. I have told them, I will not fly with them in the future. Terrible customer service. Allocating me a seat costs them nothing!!!
Qatar went over and above to get us home safely
Qatar went over and above securing flights for family to get home, through no fault of theirs. No cost was spared.
The initial flight was exceptional too and although we didn't go on a Qatar flight home it was their integrity and care that got family home safely. Customers for life.
My parents travel from London to…
My parents travel from London to Kathmandu, trip was okay, at counter in Heathrow was not good service & supportive at first desk , honestly they didn’t any priority to elderly people, service was bad, luggage was missing on Kathmandu & didn’t collect same days. They handover next day with full of damaged. I been made complaint but they didn’t respond even . Should be avoid travel on Qatar Airways , just marketing is big but there is No any cure to customers
I had booked a ticket with the airline…
I had booked a ticket with the airline on phone got the email confirmation with receipts. Upon reaching the airport (,which was more than a 100 mile drive from Belfast to Dublin) we were told that the booking failed. The travel was unplanned as we had to attend my Mother in law's funeral and were traveling with a toddler. Apparently there was a mail sent by the airline few minutes after booking saying, that the booking was cancelled, but no SMS notification or phone intimation was initiated by then. Though we reached the check in queue well in advance and seats were available the rebooking also failed. The airline ground staff did not help much through this whole ordeal. Fortunately we were able to book with another airline from the airport, though delayed we reach our destination with minutes to spare before the funeral. I am mentioning my situation because it was unforseen and unplanned but I feel that the response from the airline could have been better. The failed ticket was an inconvenience but the intimation through mail just few hours before travel was inadequate and a phone call intimation would have been very useful.
